Unfortunately, my seller in Japan fell through and I have to order at market price from Toyota dealerships here in the US. As a result, I raised the prices slightly however, all previous purchases of course will still be honored. Kits will still ship out on the 24th for those who pre-ordered. For those interested in a complete kit, I will have more in stock early November as I am expecting a shipment within 1-2 weeks from Toyota.

Was that Japan supplier megazip.com? I've purchased from them at some very good prices.

Yes, I have used them once but when you make large purchase to get a wholesale discount they will come back a few weeks later saying they are unable to supply the quantity of parts you ordered.

Because your towing at max and often so you should put it in to protect your transmission.

I think I can still argue that a 20+ deg cooler transmission will help the truck last longer, even though I only tow a couple times a year. It is HOT most of the year down here on the Gulf Coast.

All depends on what your trans temps are. There are many 2008 and up 4.6l Tundras that have the exact same cooler set up as the 19-20 trucks and are not experiencing trans failures. Seeing temps up to 220f isnt going to be an issue.

If your seeing trans temps north 220F often because you tow then add a cooler.

All pre orders have been updated with tracking on your invoices. Unfortunately, UPS is closed on the weekend and I won't be able to get them shipped until Monday. More parts are on there way and I will fill orders in the order they are received. I will be able to fill/ship 20 orders the first week of November.

220? I get 232 pan, 252 TC going up the mountain empty, not towing anything.

TC temps are irrelevant. If your consistantly seeing temps over 230f often then put a cooler on it.

We really need to keep this thread's topic about chasenicholas93's trans cooler kit and not wether you need one. Your a big boy so I'll let you decide if you need one.

    Lol...
I put one on my truck months ago and have been totally supportive of this kit.
    Pan temps dropped 50+ degrees.

Average mpg for 600 miles was 8.3.....I do have 4.88 gearing.

Look at my post as confirmation that I need the kit, just have to budget for it.

Looking forward to getting mine. It just shipped! Right after I got my 2020 Tundra and my travel trailer, took a 3hr one way trip. Monitored temps the entire way and they stayed 215-220 while spiking up to around 245 temporarily and quickly coming back down. I pretty much determined at that point I was probably OK without the cooler. Then we took a trip from STL area to Yellowstone. I never got any overheating errors, but the pan temps were consistently 250+ reaching as high as 270. Drove in S4 with Tow mode on the entire time. If I put it in S5 or D, temps would immediately spike. TT weight was around 8000, and had 3 adults and 2 kids in the truck. As soon as we got home from that trip, I contacted Chase to order the kit. We plan to do a similar trip at least once a year so the money spent is well worth it. Can't wait to do the install.

Check temps before making any decisions. My 2020 truck is my daily commuter and I have an easy 10-mile drive to and from work. This is my daily driving 90% of the time. Checked temps all last week...trans temp never got above 155F and coolant never over 186F. I don't tow either. I'm actually surprised how long it takes to get up to temp - apparently, this version of the warmer/cooler sucks at warning and cooling.

New design coming early December for the MHX-514 by Improved Racing. This will be an additional upgrade to the kits being sold. Price TBD.

Is this an upgrade or downgrade from the Hayden currently offered?

It will be an upgrade and higher quality cooler, but they are not cheap.

Anyone interested making a install video of the transmission cooler kit for my website? I am willing to pay for a quality video that is edited, clear, etc. PM me if interested.

$350 for the MHX-514 with their brackets. The brackets are $25 a piece.

Any cooling difference or is it a question of how long the cooler lasts before springing a leak?
