I’ve been working on living debt free lately and I’m to the point that my tundra is the only thing left. As much as I love the truck, it may be better for me to sell it off and pay cash for an older truck. This ad is gonna be pretty half-hearted as I’m not fully committed, but figured I’d throw it up to test the water.

The truck is an 07 SR5, regular cab, short bed, 5.7 liter, 4x4. It’s on 2.5” ads coil overs and Deaver mini pack in the rear. 18” method wheels and 295/70/18 general grabber x3s. The truck has been painted in field drab raptor liner (door lambs included) and has color matched headlights and a custom raptor style grille. The headlights have also had the high beam reflectors painted amber to match the fogs. The truck has a bedrug in the bed (it has spray in liner under the bed but it’s pretty beat) and is currently missing the tailgate. I have a custom tailgate net on order from raingler that should be here shortly. The truck has 175k miles on it and lived most of its life on a natural gas conversion which I removed when I purchased the truck. The engine is stock aside from the land cruiser 200 snorkel attached to the air box and plugs in the intake manifold where the natural gas was plumbed. The truck has its share of squeaks and creaks but is solid on and off road.

I have a build thread in the second gen section for those interested.

The truck is located on flagstaff, Az with an asking price of $17,500.
    Thanks,

    Mike

It sold separately. Wasn’t really working out how I’d hoped.

I’m not sure who that is but he seems like a smart guy! Congrats on that achievement and good luck on the tundra hunt. They’re awesome trucks!

Sell it and never look back! Being debt free will feel amazing and then you can save up and get yourself a paid for truck!

Not sure how much you owe, but I say keep it and pay it off. You’ve done some good work to it and know it’s history. If you are trying to find a different used truck for under $17500, you won’t know it’s history or full condition. Might end up paying that in repairs.

I agree. I’ve been debt free for many years. While it’s amazing (your bank account will grow like crazy) why not just keep the truck and focus on paying it off? You know it inside and out, and getting another one may be a large risk. $17,500 is nothing. I guarantee you could come up with an extra $500 a month to pay it off, then you can celebrate!!
