You've been stressing yourself out on this one, it happens.

By the way I laugh every time I read "Gee-hoff". When I was young and saw Geoff Rowley in skateboard magazines I pronounced it as "Gee-hoff" too.

Yeah my brain just automatically reads his name has Gee-hoff. He should be pissed at his parents. I can relate in a sense because 90% of people spell my name Eric, not Erik. It's been a pain in the ass my entire life. My last name also has an uncommon spelling. I always tell everyone my parents hated me...

Reminds me when I was young and read "John" as "Jahon" only to find out the Germanic spelling is "Johan" pronounced "Yo-Hon"
    The more you know.

    @FirstGenVol, you can do it!

Edit: if I wasn't returning to work tonight I'd drive down, and help out.

I'd need my cherry popped too, so not sure how much help I'd be other than moral support.

Will 16s fit over the stock brakes on my 06 AC? (V8 4x4)
I know this has been covered 20,000,000,000,000 times. But honestly, I've never paid much attention as I'd always planned to stay 17s.
I'm currently having some difficulty finding 17x8 to 17x8.5 with a 3.5BS. Only 17x9 and that seems like a bloody big wheel.
16x8 3.5BS is much easier to find.

I think the 06's have the WL calipers? I'm guessing those would still fit but someone else would need to confirm. I would assume some of the 06 Tundra's came with 16" rims.

Do you need that exact backspace? Stealth Custom series has several options with 4.3" That's what I run.

I don't want spacers, but I want the tires flush or proud of the lips of the fenders/arches.
With my truck having the big flares, I need that ish to stick way out to not have the flares doing double-duty as awnings.

And I'm trying to limit myself at 285s...

Yeah. I have the WL brakes and the originalé rims ala StarFish with 285 r16. You’ll be good. Not sure what to recco for wheels backspace etc.

Depends on the wheel. Steel wheels,, nope. Some aluminum wheels have a bit more arch where the back mating surface meets the barrel and won't clear, others work fine.

I run 16x9 KMC Enduro wheels on WL calipers (04-06 calipers).

17x9 isn't too bad, its hard to find 17x8 with a 3.5" bs. That is what I would like to run as well. You aiming for 35s?

Hello, new here. I sold my 07 Tacoma and now I have a pile of cash looking for the right truck to buy. The budget is around 12k but that is a bit flexible. I am checking cargurus, cars.com and autotrader. I am also checking craigslist. I don't have a facebook account so I can't check there. Is there anywhere else I should be looking? I plan to be pretty picky about getting a truck from a southern state.

I actually did create an account but it did not allow access to the marketplace. There was a message about using the account more to gain access. I probably wont waist anymore time on that project.

Thanks for all the tips guys. I am not apposed to traveling, but I would like to keep it under a day. I can get to Dallas, Lafayette and Nashville in a day. Anything beyond that I would want to have a pretty good contact in the area.

    05-06
    4x4
    Leather
Southern truck with decent service history
Something under 200k would be ideal.
