I had some great Chevy trucks over the years that i absolutely loved and lasted forever, especially with the indestructible 350. This just looks cheap, what a shame.

I would just save longer. 44k for that? No thanks.

We used to own a '99 Tahoe. In 2006 we were looking for a replacement. It was a great SUV but it was worn out because it had a rough life. We looked at the then new Tahoe in 2006. Even then the build quality looked cheap. There were gaps in the dash that were so big you could see the brackets supporting the dash. I was really unimpressed and went with an Acura MDX and never looked back.

Wow, this guy sounded like me when I was looking for my Tundra. I had 3 requirements: 6.5’ bed, 5.7L, and 4x4. The SR DC model fit that bill exactly for a fraction of this price. With my mods and upgrades I have a much more capable and outfitted truck for way less than $44k.

My biggest gripe was no intermittent wipers, I mean why even have 2 different wiper stalk options?!

Those aren't really in the same class, though.

My boss just sold his 2008 Suburban after putting 150k miles on it.

No they weren't. It was bought primarily for my wife. She wanted something smaller and more fuel efficient. We looked at both Sequoia's and and 4-Runners. We passed on the Sequoia because of their horrible fuel economy. We actually compared a MDX with a 4-Runner side by side and my wife liked the MDX better. The MDX has held up really well so far.
