Good on you. We adopted a Staffie last year he was less than a year old. One smart and extremely loyal buddy.

I’ve never seen, or had a dog so obsessed with toys as much as he is. He doesn’t care for Kong, but anything with a squeak inside will last maybe 10 mins before he pulls it out lol.

He follows me (mostly) and will sleep in our daughters room as our little dog (mini pin mix) sleeps with us. Those two definitely antagonize one another but he just doesn’t seem to grasp how much bigger he is to her lol.
He’s scheduled to begin training in Nov. I just started working with on “find it” and playing hide and seek so he can find me, or whoever else based off a scent.

When the humane society called and said they had a boxer mix we grabbed our other boxer mix and ran right over. As soon as I saw him in the yard I new he didn't have any boxer in him. the two got along well and we took him home. We did the DNA swab and he is 99.9% pure Staffordshire Terrier. I worked a shepherd and two malinois during my career and he is right up their with smarts and more willing to please which is hard to say since malinois have always been at the top in that account. I have six grandkids and he loves them all and will play with them all day. When they lie down he lies down right next to them.

Wife needed a new vehicle - there's a bit of a story to this one

So she used to have a 2017 2.0l Tucson, but we moved away from the city and it doesn't have much get up and go for the highway. Combine that with some oil burning (remember this) and we have been looking at trading it in for a while. But it just hadn't happened because the trade in for it was so low, wasn't exactly sure why, but we were looking at mid size SUV's (Traverse, Highlander) and the trade value just scared us away because we'd be losing so much.

So fast forward to a few weeks ago and the wife heads up to a family members house to help them move in (I had to stay behind with one of our cats who just came back from the emergency vet) so she takes the Tucson. 3 hours of driving combined there and back and on the last 10 minutes the engine starts ticking she says - gets 1 house away and it got real bad. Like it sounds like pieces in the engine are loose it's so bad, but there's no check engine light. I check the oil and after 5000 km it's down 2 quarts, it only takes 4. Oh crap. Combine that with the ticking which was coming from the top end I figure the camshaft has gone bad from poor lubrication, not exactly sure but that's what it sounded like.

So we go to a Ram dealer in my truck just to see what they have, and ballpark what they would give on trade for the Tucson. So on a 2020 1500 Classic Warlock that is 25% off MSRP they go 60% higher on trade value, sight unseen, than any other dealers. Well I guess we have a deal, I'd like to walk away and see if they'd call back with a lower number but that trade value was too good to pass up so we signed and hoped the Tucson would make it to the dealer and we'd be done with that piece of ****.

But oh no, it can't be that easy, on the way to the dealer the next night 5 minutes into a 15 minute trip the Tucson stops running and the dash lights up like a christmas tree. Oh boy, well I plug in the OBDII reader and it's roughly 10 codes. I try clearing them but the engine still won't turn over. Time for a flatbed to take it to Hyundai. In the meantime we call our sales rep at Ram since they're expecting us to bring in the car and he's blown away since this is pretty rare to happen. Basically we settle on getting the car sorted out but the deal is still on. So we drop the car off at Hyundai and wait until the next morning when they can look at it.

Hyundai looks at it and immediately the service advisor calls us and it needs a new engine - he said there's a lubrication issue on the top end (no wonder the trade value is crap) and he's had to replace a few already. So to start the warranty paperwork he needs oil change info from us. I've done most of them myself at proper intervals, but the receipts are gone. Oh boy, we may have to pay out of pocket. The whole time Ram is curious and now this comes out and we're saying we'll need some time to get the money together if we have to pay it (I was hoping they'd cancel the deal with us saying this) but they decide to add the replacement cost to the truck value - so either the money goes to us if warranty covers it, or it goes to Hyundai to cover the replacement cost.

So it takes a couple weeks but we finally get an answer back from Hyundai on whether it will be covered under warranty or not - and they will cover it, even without oil change documentation. Wow did we ever dodge a bullet with that one. So finally we have all the answers we needed. The Tucson is currently getting the engine replaced and once it is we'll deliver it to Ram. Ram went ahead and signed over the truck a couple weeks ago so the wife has been getting to drive it instead of my truck.

So that's the story of our latest purchase - a 2020 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock

Kinda bought something. On vacation here in AZ and decided I needed to go fly a paramotor. Figured I wouldn’t get a shot around home and I really wanted to go up. It was a blast! My father in law went up as well and enjoyed it. Got some so so GoPro video but man I’d love to buy a setup someday! Stole a still from one of the videos.

They told me she was shepherd mix, haven’t done a test on her.. but I haven’t seen a shepherd flex like that. Probably quite a bit of pit in there.

Our dog is a mutt but likely has some Malinois in him. He's 7 now and still obsessed with toys. Anytime someone comes to visit the first thing he does is grab a toy and try to play keep away with them.

    Nice.
Same here, my old X has been giving me few a issues so decided to upgrade.
Managed to get my order in for a 12 Pro pacific blue.

Just happy this wasn’t overtaken by scalper bots within 2 minutes like other things I’ve tried to buy recently.

Nice! I'm holding onto my X as long as it works well. AT&T's 5G buildout is behind Verizon's, but I'm ok with waiting.

What lights did you get? I recently switched from a 2018 F150 to the 2021 Nightshade and I am missing the fact my f150 lit up like a Christmas tree when unlocked.

Got this right at the end of a fall $50 coupon special. Couldn't pass it up...even though it is still a lot of money for what it is. But is ideal for my situation.
