Looks amazing! Wish I had a garage to do the same. I'm going to drive down to my mother's house in December to do the same. Which ceramic kit did you go wtih?

Thank you!!...heres everything I used, ran me about $400 total and honestly if I didn’t do three full coats on the entire truck you can easily get two vehicles from this kit… I have some of everything left over even after the three coats

I doesn't really matter since you have adjustable collars...check the height after you put them on and adjust as necessary.

Replace the rotors and brake pads with Genuine Toyota parts cost $288 for Rotors and $99 for the pads and shims. Took me 4 hours to do the front and 2 hours for the rear. Quiet as a mouse now, no more noise at 49K miles.

I have 1325 miles , did my first oil change , swapped over to the metal oil filter housing , installed the stahlbus in place of the oils drain nut for easy future oil changes . I have been using stahlbus on my 2012 Toyota Highlander, ever since it new , no issues whatsoever, and I have 100k miles on it. The skid plate on my 2020 Platinum is a PIA , may have to look for TRD skid plate, with reasonable shipping charges.

Are you looking to lift? I have the same coilovers and 2 inches of lift in the rear.

Ditched the plastic oil filter housing for the aluminum counterpart along with an oil change. Gave it a much needed clean up, and removed the X-Pel from the sides. X-Pel held up great (2 years 30k), replacement should be here by the end of the week. I have new transmission fluid here but I’m out of steam for the day. I also need to do a little research on how exactly to service the transmission. Any help there would be appreciated.

Replaced the motor on my driver's side door lock actuator. The lock would stop working every once in a while. Same thing happened on my Tacoma when I had it. Spent 5 dollars on an electric motor for it and replaced it. Saved a lot of money. While I had the door panel off, I went ahead and put some sound deadening on the door as well.

I'd guess not. Not looking at it right now, but what I can recall from memory, I don't think they come out that far.

i asked for mine to be set at 2” initially from Toytec because I wasn’t doing anything to the rear at that moment, but mine were the boss 2.0 and the adjust from the bottom. It’s supposed to be a 2/1 ratio (1/2” of threads = 1” of lift) but when I put mine on they were set to 4” of lift so I had to back them way off....so they might have just adjusted mine in the wrong direction or something.

Always interesting to see what other folks carry in their door pockets. Looks like you’re well prepared for a number of activities. I have that same tape measure - it’s worked great for 10 years.

The better half and I ventured out for an impromptu trek through Bulldog Canyon, where Mother Nature decided to leave its mark on the truck with some pinstripe action. The better half had a blast but she was not amused with the scrapes from tip to tail on both sides of the truck, to which I laughed and said...
    :itllbuffout:

Woke up and assessed Mother Nature's handiwork, she left some really good ones, a full wash and single step paint correction removed 95% of the pinstripes and resealed with paint sealant. In my haste to revive the paint, forgot to take before pictures but here is an after shot of the worst panel.

and a front quarter view of clean truck.

Realization, full stock platinum can do these types of trips, but really needs some upgrades to make it a bit less nerve racking...factory 20s with no sidewalls, stock suspension and no real undercarriage protection needs to be addressed...:monocle:
