Title says it all. Who’s got one, or building one. This is a broad subject so what ya got???

Bought in 2006 from some guys field in the city of Sebastopol CA, with hay and spider webs, a grenaded trans, no motor, one seat, 1 gallon fuel, 12 point cage, fiberglass panels lexan windows.
Stock front suspension, 4 link rear end, 12 bolt, spool, Centerlines wheels 15X15 with GoodYear slicks, pizza cutters up front.
Looked like this the day I brought it home.

Big ass hole to cut out in the hood. well thats as far as I’ve gotten.
Sense bought, it’s either time or money needed. Finding both has been a battle.

awsome sauce!!! I’ve yet to dyno.
I’m getting tired of cycling the motor each month as it sits. It needs to breath fire.
Are you running 15x15 31.5s in the rear

Mock up #3 Installed inner fender wells sheet metal to see how much they change things around.

Using re pop sheet metal is a big challenge. 10 of 12 bolt holes lined up. Now it’s take all sheet metal off again and put a new dash in it.
    more to come...

Not gunna lie, I thought your mock-up hood was a piece of plywood. Was curious up to the very last photo why you’re using plywood for a hood mockup. Whoops!

Took all sheet metal off for a new dash, last night.
Today, Prepped for new dash. Lower window channel was looking a little rusted from the pop rivet holes. It had lexan windows in it.
    Welder up soon.
    I’m going back to glass.

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
Been waiting for Classic Industrys to ship out a dash pad and A pillar post covers. It’s been a 8 weeks...
In the meantime I found a $100.00 used cowl induction hood on CL to be my next victim for a hood.
It needs a big hole cut into it.
Then my air compressor system gave up the ghost. Spent some $$$ to re plumb and updated collating filtration and hose reels.
Clean Dry Air again. New job had been pulling me away from car project. Now working for a biological diagnostic company that currently makes COVID-19, SARS, Flu, Cancer and other diagnosis kits. I’m a Reagent Bead Manufacturing Chemist.
Hopefully more parts will start to come in as COVID wind downs.

Forward process today. Filled some holes and cut out rust. Time flew by. Looking for more spare time to complete.

It’s amazing how many times I’ve mocked up the dash and considering how many things that bolt on to it to think about proper consideration with the dam roll cage in the way...
What’s the old saying...measure twice, cut once. :anonymous:

Found some 68’ Camaro doors to gut and install all hardware and glass as mock up, quarter glass as well. ( quarter glass can’t roll down, Wheel tubs are in the way) Have new 6 piece glass set coming in a few weeks. This car didn’t have much in it when it was a track car. Classic Industrys is expensive for parts. Shit adds up quickly.
