I am in COS. Schriever AFB is where I work. Seemed isolated SE of town.

My insurance has me going to Service King. It's just over a mile from my house near St. Francis. I will report back when I get the quote. The roof is my biggest worry for time and price.

It's rough to think about. But I fully agree. She was mint when I got her 2 years ago. Nicest, lowest mileage vehicle I have ever owned. And, if it's totaled, I don't know if I want to buy something else that I don't know the history of. I have had 0 issues, as expected, for the last 2 years. Would hate to buy again and have it be a basket case. Hoping they will be willing to try to make her as pretty as they can. But, ultimately, it is a truck. Stuff is bound to happen.

Your doctors must be in awe of your blood pressure. It's really refreshing to see a positive outlook on a crappy situation. I hope they can get you and your baby back on the road.

Quick update. Service King estimated $7650. So, means I am not totaled from what everyone I have talked to is saying. Should have offial word from Allstate tomorrow. Got the shop scheduled. 1 SEP, and she said expect 4-6 weeks. Ugh! Getting a new windshield Saturday. All on one deductible. $100 out of pocket.

Awesome! That's some great news. Happy for you, and the time will be worth it to get your truck back.

And... It's back! Mostly. Still don't have the new tonneau cover and the badges were falling off the front fender. Found a couple of bad paint spots. We'll see what they can do with them when my cover comes in. They also hosed up the front seat belts. Put the covers on totally wrong on both sides. I fixed the driver's side, about to fix the passenger's. Took 5.5 weeks. They ended up replacing my fender and I think they broke my rear glass, b/c they replaced it even though it was fine when I took it in. All told, cost insurance just under $13k! $5500 over the initial estimate. Looks great otherwise and glad to have it back. Had a 2020 Camry for 4 weeks. Was a fine car, but, not a truck. Cheers!

Glad you got it back! Service King did a great job on my 07 after it got rear-ended. Close to $8K. You need to have some serious damage to total out our tunnies.

My wife's forester had hail damage at DIA and her initial estimate was 3-4k, got it back and they had all the way up to 9.5k. Luckily even though her deductible was 1k, it was covered by the shop. Took also about 5.5 weeks, but in the end her car is nicer than it was when she got it haha Only cost us 171 bucks total for the rental car so I'd say it's a win. We use Geico FWIW.

I can definitely recommend American Auto Hail Repair in Denver, super nice and communicative people. There's a reason they have a perfect 5 star rating on google out of 250~ reviews.

Good to see your truck is back lookin good!!
