After a week of driving around with the suspension setup, I am happy, but also missing the comfort of the AVS adjust-ability. Also, adding more air to the rear air suspension stiffen the ride quality. Handling-wise, the Wagon handled great. I can't find an air bag spacer nor images of an airbag for the 2nd gen online to get an idea how to design the cradle spacer without undoing mine. I might customize a cradle spacer for the rear bags to add 1 1/2" lift without stiffening the rear too much.

No rubbing after a few adjustments. Now get an alignment and hopefully it will stay rub free.

Spotted a stock platinum in black. So, I now have a side by side before and after comparison. ;)

Do I need a bezel trim, or just round with 4 lights?

Installed Redarc brake controller a few days ago. Relocated the remote switch next to the tow haul button.

Arggg!!!! I installed the remote start with long range from 12volt Solutions and I did it again. Hopped on the vehicle, inserted the key and cranked the ignition. (Skreeekkk!!!) My '16 and my '20 once the engine is running it wont engage the starter anymore. There should be a fix for this.

Cool build. Do you know your ground to fender length front and rear with the lift and tires? I am trying to see if I could do something similar and still be able to park in the garage!

I never measured the overall height yet. From the ground to wheel arch. 39/40 with rake.

What class and region do you participate? I'm with Buccaneer Region and participate with Dixie and CFR.

    Cool, thanks!
I’ve been in ES and STS, in Miata’s. Currently have a ‘90 STS miata. I’m in Minnesota with the MAC crew. Is your last name Baker? I recall an Ian that ran at nats in ES one year. I’m also a members of the sandbox and did a bunch of reading before buying my sequoia this week.

    Congrats on your new acquisition!

Not Baker. I'm a slow driver with a slow car. I can not hang with the fast ES Miatas nor the STS crew.

I ran XP with my AE86 which was sold a couple of mouths ago. I don't know if I'll be autocrossing again in the near future. Or, I might just have to go get a co-drive with someone for the tour.

Moving to Canada and they call it Auto-slalom.

How are the 5100s for the weight of the tree? We got a 2019 trd sport, want to lift it 2-3". Was thinking 5100s in front and 1.5" spacer in rear

Is this the Tundra TRD skid plate? Wondering if you picked this up second hand or you can share where you purchased it from and if there was any modification required for the install?

The Tundra/Sequoia share the same TRD Skid plate. You can get a Sequoia skid plate as will that will work for the Tundra too.

Unfortunately, I replaced the shocks along with the sway bars. But, with my experience with upgrading sway bar on cars, it makes a big difference. I do know that both my Tundra and Sequoia felt a lot better getting on and off on ramps at higher speeds that before the upgrade, it felt sketchy and the traction control light and abs start taking over. With the suspension upgrade, I can push it farther. (I do performance driving on some weekends). I am a conservative driver, I am aiming for the win, just to finish in one piece.

Exactly what I was looking to hear, thank you! I'm going to look into doing them in the near future, i miss having a little stability lol.

One other question, since you have the newer TRD Pro skid plate, did yours come with black wedge washers for the rear-most bolts or circular ring washers?

I was looking at the installation instructions and it says you can have one or the other depending if you have the revised version or not. Mine, however arrived without either of those.

My rear-most bolts look like this: [IMG]

The part # i got is PTR6034190 (which is supposed to be the most revised version)
the only instructions I was able to find (as mine didn't come with any) are for PT938-34140, which is the previous one (i'm assuming the one without TRD PRO logo). And those instructions say there should be one of those 2 washer types.

Just not clear if mine should have any or not lol.

You do not need to buy the bolt kit. You should have everything in the skid plate kit. You should have the wedge washers. It should be in the box along with the 2 bolts and nuts. The rest of the bolts and spacers are pre installed on the skid plate itself. It's probably just at the bottom of the box.

Let them know you are missing the nuts and wedges with the instructions. It should have been in the plastic bag together.

@SprinterAE86 do you remember which shift knob you got for your build? Do you know if all the Tundra TRD knobs will fit on the 2nd gen Sequoias? Sick build btw and thanks for the feedback on the sway bars. Hoping to do those soon for my rig as well

Did you have to add a sway bar spacer to the front? Doing my trd sport with 5100s on top setting, they said I should get a spacer for it and diff drop.
