I just wanted to post this insane pic of Fabio Quartararo getting his shoulder down in turn 5 at Catalunya.

Love me some MotoGP!! Been over to Austin for the races a few times over the last 5 years or so. COTA is an amazing track and venue as well.

Underrated as a motorsport. I have been watching it and AMA races. I have also been into AMA Supercross. Went to Atlanta last year for the first time and it is awesome to watch!

Use to be a big NASCAR fan and still am to a certain extent. It is just so so these days and some of these other forms of racing are really good if you take time to watch!!!

Was fortunate enough to race WERA (Southeast) and even a race in what used to be AMA.
Ended up working a little for some go-fast schools and training for Sportbike Track Time doing trackdays.
After a few really fast get offs and babies, I had to sell the bikes.

Moto GP is very under appreciated and under viewed in the states, since the retirement/passing of Nicky Hayden.
After the loss of TV for the AMA(superbike/supersport etc.) and the demise of Speed TV there was zero coverage and sponsors bailed.

Motorcycle racing coverage is slowly making a comeback, with coverage of World Superbike and Moto GP.

COTA is a wonderful track and will continue to host Moto GP when normal travel begins again.

Fortunately, I live right down the road from Barber Motorsports Park.
They host street bikes, cars and even Indy cars. They also have a new AMA motocross complex.

Unfortunately, most tracks in the U.S. don’t have the capability or capacity to host a full Moto GP event.

I was always surprised and still am to this day, when talking to other guys that ride bikes that have never even seen any Moto GP coverage.

The talent these guys have are unparalleled!
The things they do with bikes is stunning.

    That’s funny!
You’ve touched on two things near to my heart.

I grew up with Neil Bonnet’s daughter, Kristen.
As we got older she dated my best freind for years.
We used to walk around Talledega like we owned the place.

After her fathers passing and then Sr. We both lost interest.

These guys are fast today, but it’s just not the same.
