I installed a blistein 6112 level on the top settings, a cb .5 shim on ds, and cb +2 shackles on the rear and have a couple questions. They said the cams are maxed out , which I expected but the truck still wonders to the right a bit more than I wanted. I gave them some alignment specs I found on the forum. They said I could bring it back but I wanted some input you guys. guys. I really wished I would have went with the 1.9 setting honestly. I feel like the 2.5 is too much for the stock suspension

I am installing my 6112s tomorrow and this may help me with my decision.. sorry to jack the thread, but do you have a picture? I am debating if an inch and half in the rear is too much at 1.9. I was also contemplating 2.5 but this has turned me off from that, so thank you!

I posted a pic of the truck. I still am running stock tires and will probably do so until after winter is over. A +2 shackle only yields 1.25 lift in the rear. If yours is an actual 1.5 lift then I would keep it on the top setting. If the +1.5 is actually only .75 lift then do the 1.9. I think a little rake looks good with these anyhow

Ah just saw that, didn’t load up on my phone when I initially saw the post. The shackles are good for true 1.5” of lift. On the fence about using them for now. The more I look the CB +2 shackle might be the ticket.
I’ll be keeping an eye on this thread, I go in for an alignment on Saturday assuming I can get everything on tomorrow

    Coming soon.
I installed Blistein 6112s at 1.9, a .5 shim on ds, and 5160s with +1 shackles. My truck pulls right and I have had it aligned and checked twice. I did the install myself and can't help but wonder if I did something wrong but have gone over it in my head many times and come up blank. My truck is a Sport and has sway bars front and rear. I put 1" spacers on the front sway bar to drop it back down and relocated the rear sway bar up on the back of the axle. I am seriously disappointed with the drift/pull to the right. My feeling is the .5" ds spacer is the culprit.

First at that setting most would go after market UCA. But either way it should still be within specs. Take it somewhere that specializes in lifted trucks.

Were you referring to me or the OP? I specifically kept my lift on the mild side so I wouldn't have any issues or need new UCAs. My wheel/tire combo is basically stock with only a change to a 60 sidewall from a 55. As far as I know, here in Knoxville, there isn't a shop that specializes in lifted trucks. Where would you go in Nashville?

Was talking to the OP. I would reccomend $ wheel parts. My alignment was spot on and I am about to get another one done by them soon. its been a while

I have 6112 with 3" in the front. AAL and Fox 2.0 in the rear installed by Westcott. Dont know anything about the alignment as they took care of that. I can say that it rides great, no pulling etc.

Goes right for 2 reasons IMO,

    1. Road crown

    2. Pulls to the side with least positive caster

So not only is the right lower caster number, but add that with road crown and it's going to go right.

Ask them to see about driver caster closer to 2

Also, IMO, try getting your cross toe closer to .14.

    Just talking out loud here.

Here is my set up. 6112 at top setting with JBA UCAs. Stock rims and tires. Alignment came out perfect. The place where I got them installed said they would not install them at the top setting without aftermarket UCAs because you would not get the right amount of caster from stock UCAs.

I am at the 1.3 setting. My alignment shows fine on the latest, greatest machine but the truck pulls left at 60+ mph -- any crown and it's a pretty decent pull. I need to take it to a for-real alignment shop (4x4 or racing maybe) but haven't yet.
