The panel light dome/sleeve, which the light bulb slips into, is green except for reverse which is yellow. No way to change the colors.

Others have shown pictures of a bright blue cluster so it is possible to get blue. I think it was @Jerry311SD

The cluster backlighting is easy to do 00-04, it's the PRNDL lights that have the permanent "filters" I'll call them.

You may be able to disassemble the cluster and sand off the color for them but I didn't look that closely at them

Maybe me and getting to old.
But find I am just confused after reading the post. Some say led are to bright, different colors that might bleed other colors, some need modifications, etc...

So I just want to play it safe and not take a chance.

My D light is out. But would like to replace all the cluster bulbs once I have it out.

Does anyone have the oem part numbers I would need. And how many of what type.
And also only remove the cluster once. And make sure I have some bulbs I know will work like oem.
So dont have to be LED's. And dont mind the oem price to make sure they are the right bulbs that fit.

    2003 Tundra SR5

    Thanks

Check out the ‘1st Gen Info Dump’ pages. Believe there is a good write up there.

Go with the superbrightleds NEO4-NWHP. I put them in my 2000 Tundra two years ago with positive results. https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...ulb-high-power-instrument-panel-led/221/7737/

    New headlamps.
I replaced my Drive Indicator light several years ago (2002 Tundra). Ordered the new bulb from Amazon. Regular incandescent light, came with a removable green sleeve over the lamp. Part #90011-11032. I hope this helps.

The link to the part in Amazon:

    https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Part+#90011-11032&ref=nb_sb_noss

Also, I replaced my Cruise Control indicator lamp. That was part #83120-60020
    Bulb #TSD 74

I also ordered them through Amazon, but I think you can get the TSD 74 bulbs pretty-much anywhere.

You can solder new LED's on the board if you know how to solder.

So if I reading this thread right, the PRNDL, cruise, ABS, CEL, etc are #74 bulbs? Or are they neo4 style? My D light is going in/out and only turns on after I tap the top of the cluster. I have extra 194, T5 and 74 bulbs laying around.

On my 2002 the PRNDL and the OD are neowedge. I think it was a Neowedge 4 from superbrightleds.com. let me check, and I'll edit in 100% correct info from my receipts.

    Cruise, ABS, CEL are 74s.

Check engine light (CEL,) battery light, low fuel light and the seat belt light have to be incandescent. I pulled my dash apart 3 times to correct all my mistakes. Please learn from mine.

    @SouthPaw

Here is a link to what I did with all my indicator lights.

Too long, and didn't read. I used JB weld to cover the top diode on the 74s so they wouldn't be too bright. I drove for a week with my turn signals, and high beam light indicators BLINDING me at night.

Here is what I used on the PRNDL with the Neo4.

I also used a Neo3 on the foglight button.

I don’t remember exactly the type of bulbs I replaced in the P and D sockets. I do know they are a special shape that fits up into the ‘bulbed’ portion of the cluster glass. With this being said, I ordered the OEM Bulbs ($10ish each) a couple years ago. They work perfect without adaptations.

Hmm...bought my 1st gen Tundra access cab used and the D light was out then, no telling how long it's been that way. Lot's of info here, should be a big help to those who can't stand having one little light out...I can count to 3 so I'm not gonna bother with it.

Could have just asked @shifty` to add the part numbers to the mega thread or added a post about it in the info dump. But I guess a sticky works too. BTW a search lead me right to this thread in about 15 seconds
