Good morning all, new here and have never had a truck lifted so I have a question and would like some input, if I'm being a moron don't hesitate to say so.

I have a 2016 SR5 Crewmax 4x4 TRD package that I'm wanting to put a 4"/2" leveling suspension lift on. I don't like the flared finders and want clean sides so I don't want to go with a wider tire, I also like the 18" wheels I have that came with the truck. Could I do 275/85/R18 tire and would it clear without cutting, the tire would be the same width but be 2" taller on bottom and top than what I have now which are the stock tires 275/65/R18.

Thanks for the input in advance

I think finding a tire with an 85 aspect ratio will be tough and definitely limit your choices. More commonly people are going 285 or 295 70 18.

275/85/18 is like 36.4". No way. Look into 285/75/18. It might fit with the stock wheels.

This is what I was going off of and was looking at considering that size tire, just from an eyeball I was thinking the difference would be covered by the lift in the front and the rear appeared to have plenty of room, but that was very simple math and an eyeball. And a healthy dose of I don't really know too. IMG_2094.jpgIMG_2090.jpg

Are you meaning to put 285/75r18 cuz that would make a hell of alot more sense

Oh you're lifting it 4". Sorry missed that. Still don't think it'll fit but I'm unsure.
