Weird... i've had good luck on the few things I've attached (granted not for extended periods) with the 3M automotive tape that has the red vinyl backing on it.
I do clean the area real good with alcohol prior to use though.

I just put a RedArc Tow-Pro Elite in my Lexus GX. It was also plug-n-play and believe they make a harness for the Tundra as well.

They also make dummy switches so that the gain knob can go in one of the switch blanks in your dash and you don't need to drill holes.

When it is installed, the gain knob is the only thing visible. The actual control box gets mounted under the dash. I just used mine this weekend to tow my 5500 lb travel trailer behind my GX and it worked really well.

I know you all have been waiting with bated breath for an update (lol), so here we go. The AutoZone order with 20% off the $140 P3 got canceled...twice. As did a Walmart order ($130.) Luckily, my Amazon order ($140) was delivered today, and I got it installed. I'll say this: those of you that installed it in 10-15 minutes definitely must have gotten the full dash panel vs just the plate because it def took waaaay longer than 15 minutes to install this biotch. Having said all that, I'm blown away by what a literal night and day difference the P3 is from the factory IBC. I took my 16' Big Tex car hauler out for a test drive and was able to actually lock up my brakes for the first time. Never could I do this with the IBC even at the highest setting. My IBC had completely sht the bed and was not even registering the trailer. Like someone else said, the P3 "just works." If you're on the fence, just do it. It is a 1000% improvement. Can't wait to actually feel safe pulling my Jeep. Happy trails, my friends. Next mod is more aggressive wheels and tires!

i already had the panel off for some other work but it was only about ten minutes. just laid down the plate and drilled four holes = easy claps. i haven't been able to test my trailer yet but im glad to see your results - hoping i can lock mine up now :)

My plate was slightly larger than where it installed, so I had to score the bottom on each side. I also had to cut out a section on the left of the dash panel so the P3 would fit. Finding the ground was also a PITA. However, now I'm done and am enjoying a cold beer or three. :)

Is 2017 IBC same as 2016?
