    I want to find a long lost friend, (Woman Marine), I served with in 1980. All I know is her name. Anyone know of a way that is tailored to vets? I tried google, and all that, but her name is so generic that it wou;d take me a year to narrow it down.

    OK. I made a free account on togetherweserved.com. I don t see it helping me in my endevor. The message I get from the site is to upgrade to a premium account: a fimiliar catch phrase for those entities who are after the bottom line, (money). It may have been, or still is, a good resource, but I can t get past the initial; bs.

    Oh that sucks. I remember I was in Oki in like 06 when I first heard of it. Haven’t used it since. Somehow it just randomly popped into my head when I read your post.

    Not sure if it’s a privacy issue but maybe militaryonesource. I remember they used to say they could do all kinds of things.

    The internet is an amazing place. If you know her full name and a location she lived at any point try googling her. There are many websites that can help you with this for a fee of course. There is no private data anymore you just have to be persistent and somewhat clever with your searches. Type her name and last known city of residence and see what comes up and go from there.
