I was wanting the trd pro shift knob but then got to thinking about something different that not everyone has. I ordered one from a guy who sells on Etsy and it looks great. The first one I got was threaded at the bottom so it sat way too high. I emailed him and he exchanged one with the knob threaded much higher so it sat lower on the shaft. Anyway, not sure if I am allowed to advertise him here but the quality of his products and his customer service are top notch. He has many colors and grains of wood - if you’re interested PM me and I will give you his name.

image.jpg image.jpg I went and did it again......ever since the 4runner was totaled I was mad at myself for not taking my Ellis precision shift knob off before insurance claimed the truck. I finally got a new one for the tundra- it’s cold in the winter and hot in the summer but is one of the best looking shifters out there in my opinion. They do quality work and have incredible customer service - both good reasons for me to continue giving them business. Merry Christmas everyone!

Hey Shawn, really like this shifter. Been looking for something like this and like how it sits low on the shaft. I ordered a different shifter before and after seeing it sitting up high on a stick I ended up throwing it out. Drove me nuts. I take it the threads are up near the top or was there some retooling you had to do? Thanks for sharing this. Merry Christmas. Rush

    Rush,
It actually comes in two pieces. The bottom piece threads all the way down onto the threaded portion of the shifter. It uses a lock washer and the top knob threads down onto the shaft. Then you reverse thread the bottom piece tightly to the top. That’s exactly why I like it - it covers almost the entire shaft and is HEAVY!!! Worth every penny in my opinion
