The shed has arrived. I negotiated another $100ish off the price before signing the delivery agreement last week. $7447 delivered.

I couldn't be happier. The transaction was painless. Delivery was easy, because I took the time to prep my site, remove my fence center post, and limb a few trees. The driver was skilled and knowledgeable. We worked on aligning and then leveling the shed for about 30 minutes. Concrete blocks down the middle and on all 4 runners. Hurricane ties installed as well.

I will build the ramp this week, build some shelves, and then build a bike rack on one end. For power I'm planning on a single 100 watt solar panel, charge controller, and 110ah battery. I will run a 750 watt inverter off the battery to power 4 LED shop lights, window fan, and a stereo for the back yard. Any larger tools, compressor, and climate control are all in the garage, so I don't need a whole lot of juice in the shed.20180820_154856.jpg 20180820_162653.jpg

I work for Home Depot. I sell Tuff sheds. The design system we now have let’s you see a 3D image of the shed you want.
    Check out the tr700
7 ft side walks and galvanized floor joist. 5 year warranty and backed by Home Depot
Use your Home Depot card to lay for it and get a extra 5% off every day on Tuff sheds and that’s with any promos at the time of purchase. Right now iirc it’s free paint

Nice looking shed, but they quoted you over 8K for that size. I just had a 12 x 20 delivered for my wife's non-profit with a 25 year warranty on the structure for 3200ish. I couldn't buy the supplies at lowes for that price. Would have loved to build it, but she needed it NOW and I've got to many other projects at the cabin to do.

Got my SIL a small 8x12 for a mancave just after my wife's was delivered. only around 1700$. He couldn't get anything bigger into his back yard. Daughter is happy he has someplace to do his woodworking that isn't the spare bedroom, he's happy cause it's a MANCAVE, and when they move to the country, one phone call and his shed goes with them.

This looks great and will make a great addition to your yard! I’m in a rural area on some acreage and hopefully can get something like this for about the same amount of cash...

I have two 40 foot conexes. I need to come up with something like this.

    Those with sheds.
-Did you ground it, with a grounding rod and maybe a run of copper tied into the roof (I have a metal roof)?
-Did you add it to your homeowners insurance or is it assumed since it's an accessory building?

I had to ground mine. It’s where I have my batteries, inverter, and controller for my solar system.

Interesting to fins this thread here.

We just bought a new shed and had it delivered last month.
Its a 14x16 or is that 16x14 "amish" built deal. The wifey picked
out the color and the roof. We over estimated our privacy fence gate
and had to do some last minute "fixen" to get in installed...lol

Looks like OBXTundra and us used the same company...lol

Nice shed, I added a gutter on the front of mine because I got sick of all the water hitting me on a light rain.
