Did a quick search and came up empty. Has anyone ever done/tried/or doing a name brand weight loss food program? I'm talking like weight watchers, nutrisystem, etc. You know, the pay for meals to get sent to your home. I work in the medical field and this pandemic has been hell on my eating habits causing a significant weight gain. I am way too busy to try and meal prep on my own, eating healthy at work is not an option, so I've been contemplating using this as an option.

    Any feedback is appreciated!

I would suggest speaking with a nutritionist and ask for recommendations.

At the gym I go to, there is a gal you can hire. She meal preps for you and drops it at your house. I'm sure that's not unique to my area.
I'd look into that before buying the shit you mentioned.

It's all mental. How committed are you? I'm too cheap to pay for those things when the internet has all sorts of good information for free.

Basically, it all comes down to macros. Fat, Carbs, Protein. Get a basic understanding of how macros work https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/how-to-count-macros#step-by-step

All these meal programs follow the basic theory of macros.

    Calculate your macros https://www.iifym.com/iifym-calculator/

Now, you can lose weight and gain muscle and whatever your goal is, as long as you stay within the macros. You can eat whatever you want. You don't need to be eating whatever those meal programs tell you to eat, as long as you stay within the macros. You'll just need to know how much fat, carbs, and proteins the food you're eating has. Keep a journal for a week or so, then it'll become a lot easier to keep track. Now, you can still eat whatever they are feeding you at work or whatever you have access to at work, just eat enough to stay within the macros. You can eat fast food all day too, as long as you stay within the macros! (see the pattern or the point I'm trying to make?) Dieting doesn't have to be boring! Ice cream? Cake? Go right ahead, if you have room for it in the macros!

I got into the macros by reading this reddit thread https://www.reddit.com/r/Fitness/comments/24z2f6/a_step_by_step_guide_to_doing_the_math_for_your/

Believe me guys I know most of that...the point of this thread is I work in the medical field, we are in the middle of a pandemic, and it is not slowing down either. I don't have the time to go to the gym, I don't have time to meal prep myself. All do is work, come home go to sleep, and go back to work. If I can get food delivered and just take two meals with me that's what's going to work.

If and when this pandemic slows down I will stay focused and committed and do it on my own.

Your go to MRE bags for a busy work schedule. Multiple levels of satisfaction and flavors. Heating not required can consume cold. If you do desire to heat it up, please do so safely outside in well ventilated area with heating agent. One a day is all you need to sustain you. lol

I meal prep 1-2x a week. Doesn’t take very long. I use storage containers and boom.

    What did you decide, OP?

You could either use an old TV for weight lifting or instead of eating just watch some food on TV for a week.

I’ve lost 15 LB using Noom. It’s a great system, but doesn’t include food. You do your own prep and log it in the app.
