I had this on my 2006 and the time it would take that small stream of oil to drain out would drive me mad.

    NOT HARD AT ALL.
No, i didn't reference any video, but i'm sure there out there.
Took me 15 min to remove everything.
Do be careful removing the grill, don't break that.
My biggest problem was my 3 year son running away with my tools:)

    I did find this video.
    https://youtu.be/xq0YrxV53O8
I found it easier to remove the front grill, to gain access to the 2 12mm bolts, on either side, just under the headlights.

@Beesta is the safe Jack system worth the price? What system did you end up purchasing? I've looked at them and they make very quality stuff, although for me, I just think they are a little beyond my price range. For me, safety is the top priority. I usually have multiple jacks and bottle jacks when lifting.

Removed the 5.7 iForce V8 badge from the doors with the intention of adding a black one. Think I am going to leave them off if I can buff the outline of the badge out. Also added the TUNDRA to the tailgate and the 4x4 overlay that I received from a fellow member.

I don't think it'll be too bad. You can drain it while it's hot so it can flow better, and there's not risk of burning yourself with hot oil.... unless you do it like this guy. Now, obviously not hot oil in the video, but seems to flow pretty good. Slower than no valve? Sure, but for the convenience I still plan to install the Fumoto.

    https://youtu.be/jvt4lT92Qkk?t=72

Edit to add second video. This guy drains it hot, and you can see a really good flow.

    https://youtu.be/V8k9neRPKEQ

And a third video. I snagged this one at the time stamp of where he starts to drain. What's cool about this video is he is actually using an older fumoto valve, and then he puts in a new one to show the faster drain speed of the redesign. Perhaps you had one of the older designs @fbingha ?

It’s not any slower than the time it takes the oil to drain normally. I open the valve and go take a break.

I did that one and it is one of the easiest mods to do, unless the darn thing refuses to go back on right. I did the drivers side in like 5 minutes and the passenger side was stubborn. It took about 30 minutes and a couple of tries.

I also have a lowered rail system due to my bed cover. What molle panel is that? Did you have to trim off any bottom sections to get it to fit? Thanks!

It is the victory 4x4 panel. It was a tight fit due to the bed mat and I raised the bed rails as far up as I could.
