A friend of mine is making a fly rod for me from a CTS blank. I am having the hardest time determining what to do for wraps. Any suggestions? I should note that I have a blue agate stripping guide but the rod has taken a different turn than originally planned. All hardware is dark nickel.

Oh WOW! This is a piece of art. I’d be afraid of ruining it by fishing. You truly have talent, so cool. :101010:

That's a great looking rod! What blank did he use?

Thanks. I can't take the credit. My friend at work did all the work. I only did the cork.

    It's a CTS fiberglass 8 ft, 5 wt
