There isn't a 'flush' kit for the 2014+ models like with the 2007-2013...at least not for the 10.2" screens that I'm aware of. It seems like most auto manufactures are going with the floating design these days.

Hey guys, I'm about to pull the trigger on this but I'm a little slow so if somebody can whip out the crayons and color it out for me I would appreciate it. I have read the whole thread but am still a little confused? I have an 08 sequoia w/JBL sound non nav. What is the best way to currently get this HU?
Do I purchase from ebay, ali Express, dasaita store or Amazon? This is one I'm looking at.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0838Y9DDX/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A1HSGG5K9B1122&psc=1

If from dasaita is the expedited shipping worth it or is standard not as bad as estimated? Do I also need to contact them with my vehicle info after I purchase for correct harness? It looks like the one on Ali Express gives you an option to purchase with correct harness, but I prefer the one without the dasaita logo on the front. Would like to purchase as soon as possible so any insight would be greatly appreciated!

:( I just ordered the one on Amazon as well as the harness not more than 2 hours ago. 8:58 to be exact. Do you mind if I ask why you are looking to get rid of it?

I'm going with a Hi- Fidelity unit. My unit is still in the box. Android 10.0. I want super clean sound and this unit doesn't offer much of it.

    Too many to list
flushed unit was the old way. HU in the new luxury automobiles sticks out and that’s what Dasaita is mimicking

I like the Agama Launcher, but there are many of them out there. With that said, because I use Android Auto, I hardly ever see the launcher home screen anymore...it's probably not worth it to invest the money or time trying to configure one if you predominately use AA or CarPlay.

I just installed the Dasaita Head Unit on my 2012 Tundra with JBL. I wanted to add this comment as a quick reference for someone else's future search. Here are a few things I wish I was able to find faster.

    ***WARNING***
This thread is written under the assumption that the reader has basic knowledge/background on the installation process, has already read this thread, and assumes all risks. Also, This post may read a little funny since my intent is for to to be optimized for the internal search engine.

    1. With JBL Tundra; can be installed as long as the CANBUS harness is used.
    2. OEM rear view backup camera can be used with the CANBUS on a vehicle with JBL.
    3. OEM rear view backup camera can be used on a truck without JBL. You will need to know how to properly splice wires and understand which wires to tap into. I was able to do this on my 2013 Toyota Sienna.

How to wire OEM Camera Dasaita?

    1. I connected the wire cable to the backup camera trigger wire. The backup camera trigger wire is located at pin5 in the R9 connector.
This photos were provided from another Toyota forum. It proved very useful since the 4Runner wiring in the thread was almost the same as my 2012 Tundra with

    2. Skip this step if using the CANBUS Harness. I connected a video cable to the backup camera video wires. The positive backup video wire is the solid black wire located at pin22 in the R26 connector. The negative backup video wire is the solid gray wire located at pin23 in the R26 connector.

were there any issues after you installed it or did it take time to fix? Does everything work the way it’s supposed to?

The only issue i had was the low volume while using youtube. They send an update firmware and that fixed it. They did send me the wrong canbus the first time, so i couldn't install it. But once the correct canbus showed up, everything was direct plug n play. I didnt have to do anything at all. Match up the plugs and ever works. Even the backup camera works, resolution sucks but that's from the factory camera on the 720p screen. Bluetooth connects quickly and automatically. Boot up fast. Overall, om pleased with it.

Does anyone know if the backup camera is viewable without being in reverse? I'm getting ready to hook up front and backup cams. I didnt know if I would need to put a switch in to power the rear camera when not in reverse? Any help would be appreciated.

You would have to hook the rear camera up to constant 12v. I did mine to the taillights so they only get power in reverse.

I plan on taking my front cam (I rarely use it) and mounting it to my bed right where it meets the cab and that way I have a "bed cam" when hauling stuff. I constantly hear stuff shifting/moving and can never see.

Thanks for the response. Yeah I have it wired for when in reverse but I didnt know if there was an app like the front cam has to be able to view it when not in reverse? I bought a switch to power both cams but is kinda uneccesary since the HU already has an app to view the front cam. Not sure if I'm going to mess with it at this time. Would just like to be able to view the rear cam whenever, but it's not too big of a deal.
