    Hello All,
I recently upgraded my 2019 Tundra TRD Sport with Pro equipment: Fox 2.5 bypass/reservoir shocks, Dual SS exhaust and both skid plates. I've been thining about adding the PRO badging letters to the vinyl side Sport decals just below where the decal's TRD is located. Has anybody tried this? Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Dan

I always thought it was a bit shiesty when people want to re-badge their truck as a model that it isn't - but to each their own. I think it'll look weird seeing as it doesn't have the stamped bed, and you're just adding "PRO" under a decal - but whatever floats your boat my dude. If it makes your happy, who cares what anyone else thinks.

Thanks for getting back to me Eric. The only thing that it is lacking that a Pro has is cosmetics on the interior and grill. All the vitals are the same. I just want to acknowledge the upgrades. After all, I spent $8K+ to make it all happen.

Totally understand where you're coming from Dan; I put a "TRD OFF ROAD" decal on my 2004 Tacoma Prerunner after some upgrades since literally the only difference was suspension, wheels, tires, and the decal. I even confused the dealership when I'd bring it in for service because it wouldn't come up in their system as a TRD OFF ROAD.

    I'm thinking about putting a 4X4 emblem on my 2WD SR5 just because I have 6112/5160s installed.:eek2:
Or putting a Limited emblem on it since I have leather seats..
Or maybe I should put a TRD Pro decal on it since I have a TRD Pro skid plate..o_O
Or maybe a Platinum emblem since I have puddle lights..:p

I actually removed my TSS decal, SR5, and Tundra emblems.
    I kept the 5.7 i-force emblem since I don't want people thinking I bought a 4.6..

But whatever works for you is fine with me..

I put them over the Sport side decal. I thought about the TRD Bro badge, but it is not at all the same as what I have of all Pro parts.TRD Pro badge placed over Sport decal.jpg

Here is a description of the TRD Bro, FYI:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9j-gMc22F94

I might be inclined to replace the TRD Pro badges I bought from Amazon with the larger TRD PRO raised badge as shown on the army green truck if my side decals ever wore off, etc., but it would not be as striking on my barcelona red paint job.

I appreciate all the feedback!.

My takeaway from the video was anything that is built to look like a TRD PRO, but isn't a true TRD PRO, is a TRD BRO. I think it would be kind of silly to put the TRD PRO insert badges that are meant to fit in the stamped bed - but whatever makes you happy man.

Does anyone know where I can get the OEM TRD Pro bed side inserts? I’ve scoured the web and tried the links in this thread but none work anymore. I contacted my salesman and he said they aren’t even listed in their parts catalog anymore. Did they stop making them??

Thanks. I’ve seen the aftermarket ones and theres mixed reviews on them. From the pictures I’ve seen they don’t seem to fit like the OEM ones do. I’m pretty OCD so if they’re not just right it would drive me nuts.

There are no OEM ones, never have been - the only ones out there are third party. The only OEM inserts they make for our Tundras is the TUNDRA one for the tailgate.

Well, I guess you learn something every day. Always assumed there were OEM ones for the bed sides. Guess I’ll have to find the best fitting after-market ones. Any suggestions?

I had sent Roman a PM about them. Apparently there never was an OEM set of these. All aftermarket.

No sir. They are not made by Toyota. Only the "TUNDRA" on the tailgate has the OEM inserts.

Yep, Gulf States and Southeast Toyota dealerships list aftermarket accessories as being from Toyota, though they are not. The charging kit, bed inlays and console safe are all aftermarket.
