Hey guys, I’m new here and I’m looking for a tuner for my 2020 Tundra SR5 CrewMax 5.7L. I haven’t been able to locate anyone making one for 2020‘s yet. Can anyone help. I’ve found several peddle commander type unites and I will get one of those as well but I want to see what tuners are out there first. I’ve called every company I know and no one knows of one made for them yet. Thanks in advance.

OVTune might. Most others stopped in 2018 when Toyota changed things for the TSS.

Your going to have to get a custom tune. None of the off the shelf tuners are available for 2018+. Get a Sprint Booster or Pedal Commander to start with. You’ll be surprised by the improved throttle response.

Thank you guys. Keith @dirtydeeds was absolutely great to speak with about everything Tundra. He helped me tremendously with explaining things I didn’t fully understand. I will be buying several items from him in the near future.

Also, you guys were correct. They don’t make a tuner yet for 2020 Tundras. I will be getting a Sprint Booster or Pedal Commander and an SB or AFE CAI. It seems like everyone has their preference on which they like of all these items. I’m not sure there is a noticeable difference in increase in HP, maybe a small sound difference.

Again, thank you guys. You have been a great help already on my first post.

Very upset with my Tundra. I had no idea Toyota would have it governed to shut down at 105 mph. I know I shouldn’t be going that fast but sometimes I need to for a moment. How do I make it allow me to go faster without tearing up my truck?

What? Leave a few minutes earlier or stop robbing banks. Techstream might have a setting, but please don’t drive anywhere near me or my family.

Pretty easy to get up to the 100+mph mark. Speed limit is 85, gotta get past someone quickly. One little punch, and bam your up over 100. Haven't hit the limiter in my tundra, have hit in my Sequoia a couple of times.

I had my SC 2010 tundra in Germany where I could drive the autobahn and legally go as fast as I wanted. It also had a 3” lift and ~35” tires. Cause of the SC I had a tune that removed the speed limiter. I tried once to go over 100 mph and didn’t care to do it again. Not only for my safety but others on the road too. Yes I know my truck was modified, but the tundra isn’t made to go that fast and trying to go over what Toyota says is safe is like going way over our crappy payload and thinking it’s only a few miles, I’ll be safe.

And before you say I’m old and don’t know how to drive, I have had several driving courses for LE and have worked protection where you drive 3 feet off the bumper of the Tahoe in front of you at highway speeds.

Not trying to rant or change the subject from OPs question, but I do care esp when my wife and soon to be kids will be driving.

@dorton ”if you’re not first, you’re last.” LoL.

No, but seriously guys, it isn’t something I do all the time but when I’m adding mods or testing items I may get on it a little to see how well it performs. I’m very safe and don’t do it with cars around me and don’t do it with loved ones in the car. I’ve just never had a vehicle that cut off that low.
