Best hose nozzle?

    What is your fav hose nozzle for washing vehicles? I've tried a bunch. They typically self destruct, or have crappy spray patterns. The one I'm currently using is brass, and even it is about to come apart. (And I managed to create a big paint chip with it recently by being a dumba$$). Watcha got?

    2-1/2” front leveling kit, spider trex wheel spacers, line-x bed liner, change all lights over to led bulbs interior, exterior, and headlights. All bulbs are from headlight revolutions, RCI skid plates. RCI running boards

Best place to get Them these days is the Home Depot you can get it shipped to the store for free and that’s the cheapest place that I have found them

    Every manufacturer has a similar nozzle for use with a garden hose. I'm 'queer' for this type of nozzle because it has a thumb control for 'on and off' and a multi-pattern spray capability.
    But, just as you mentioned, these things aren't built especially well and may only last a short time. I've gone through a bunch of them myself.
    I may have to break down and buy the Fireman's Nozzle, too.

    I use a similar nozzle. Great for blasting grime off the paint before soaping up. However, I like high volume, low pressure for rinsing so I pop off the nozzle and just use the hose wide open.

    I recently discovered these quick disconnects from Eley. They are fantastic & huge. Full 3/4 ID, so they do not restrict flow. O-rings, so they don't leak. with 65lbs of pressure at the tap, and 3/4 hose and fittings, and a nozzle similar to the one pictured above, I can soak my kids from a full 55' away. They can run to the other side of the street, but they can't get away.:rofl:

    SOOOO much more convenient than having to run back to the spigot and shut the water off there. Handy for when I need to remove the sprayer in order to hook up the hose directly to my riding mower deck wash.
    Spend a few extra bucks and forgo the plastic ones and go brass. I have found these last MUCH longer.

    I have a couple of these and love them for when I need good pressure and flow but don't particularly care for them when washing my trucks because of needing two hands to operate. I do have two hands but, find it more convenient for an old school one handed nozzle with the truck washing.
    It is difficult finding good quality ones though.

    I stay away from brass or metal ones at all times. One slip up can turn into a bad day. I prefer the firehose nozzles.
