Has anyone checked out the sliders from smittybilt the m1 series sliders. I was looking at the all pro sliders but shipping to virginia tends to get pricey, but with these m1 sliders they offer free shipping and all. What are all your opinions?

I don't think I'm anywhere close to competing with SB on pricing - and don't even try as they are a massive parts factory and do lots over seas. But out of curiosity what do they charge? Our sliders start at $850 shipped for the Tundra Type 2 or $900 for the Type 4 (shown).

the smitty's are awesome. had them on my 13 tundra. After looking around at different sites and what-not, smitty's might be the choice for my '15

Anyone who's thinking about these, it's been confirmed they won't fit with the 38 gallon tank.

Do you have any pics of how the brackets are attached to the frame both driver and passenger side? I'm trying to install them myself but the instructions and pics given with the sliders are the worst.

I am in the same boat. I was going to pull the trigger on the All Pros but then I realized I need to cough up $100 more to ship, and oh yeah, need to paint/powder coat them too. Too rich for my blood.

Ya we tried to install them ourselves and gave up. Dealership charges $60 to do it. Money well spent. I'll see if I can get some pictures later today!

Go All Pro. Their stuff holds up. I don't know if you can hi lift off of Smitty stuff. But you can with All Pro. I personally wouldn't trust Smitty. But I would pay extra to have the peace of mind that the All Pro stuff is going to handle what it needs to.

    None, yet....
Ditto. If their truck stuff is anything like their jeep stuff, it's all mostly trash. Their bumpers, tire carriers, recovery gear, etc is junk. I've used quite a bit and seen load s of people bitch about fit net issues, coating issues, weld issues, etc.

I guess the $250 for wrap around the frame brackets and multiple mounting bolt locations to significantly increase shear strength just isn't worth it to some people...

I heard there is a mod that allows the Smittybilt M1 rock slider to go on the Tundra with the big gas tank. It just relocated the rear brake line out a little. Anyone try this?
