I forgot to take pic, but the wheel was swung to the left and the ball joint and front end was in dirt , you could see the ball joint and guys with tow truck said that it popped out they tried to put it back on and it popped right back out so they tied wheel on so they could get it on towtuck

Yes I am like you I almost always go to a dealer but this was one of those things I had my guy come by to put a belt on before my trip and he did not lift up the front of the truck and I knows that's the only way to tell but then again i drove 400 miles so guess It could have gone at the end of my trip with a lot of weight on the trailer, who know I was just dam lucky this time

I am real glad no one else got hurt by my trailer that would have gone flying through the air with my truck rolling with it

Glad things weren't worse and no one was injured but your wallet. It sounds very much like two unrelated problems. If rear shoes and adjustment check out good, and the front wheel bearings don't have play, and there are no leaks in the system, then the master cylinder should be replaced even if it's working alright again now. A vacuum booster problem will never give a soft pedal that goes flat to the floor, rather, a hard pedal or brakes that won't release.

Another thought, were you braking hard for an extended time leading up to when your pedal dropped to the floor?

It's possible that if you overheated your brakes that boiled the brake fluid in your calipers. Brake fluid absorbs water and it's boiling point drops significantly as it does.
