I purchase the regular Platinum emblems from Toyota and had the dealer paint them matte black.

Oh, yeah I keep debating about getting the MGM mirror caps. I just wonder if they are worth the extra expense compared to the black ones... :monocle: I also debated about getting the tow mirrors, but my dealership told me people were having a lot of problems with the blind spot monitor system....

I did have a question about adding MGM mirror caps. Do you guys think I should go with MGM mirror caps or just keep the black ones I have on the truck currently?

Finally installed some Baja Designs fog lists on my Tundra. I figured I should add them to the build list.

Assuming it has the proximity handles since it’s a 2020, where did you find the color match handles? I have only seen them for the older non proximity handles?

Well, I decided to add the TRD intake to my build and color match mirror covers. It will be delivered in a couple of days and will post pics up as soon as I get them installed!

I finally got to install the TRD cold air intake today and my mirror covers. I will put up an updated pic with the MGM mirror covers when I get around and clean the truck!

I have a 2017 Platinum as well and looking at new LED headlights as well. It’s a headache to say the least. Let me know what you come up with and I will do the same.

I went with the XB LED Morimoto Headlights & Fog Lights from @Headlight Revolution https://www.headlightrevolution.com/toyota-tundra-xb-led-heads-B-TUNDR_2?quantity=1
They're a little on the expensive side, but in the end I felt it was worth it. I was able to get the headlights and fog lights for the price shown in the link. Sometimes they run specials. Just gotta check with them.

Thanks for the link. I will probably end up going this route being Morimoto seems to be #1 in this department. I want some Amber fog lights as well. My blackout has been easy so far. Bought some black mirror covers and handle covers and they work and look great but definitely went the easy route there being it’s just 3m tape holding them on. I heated them up before hand and don’t see them coming off. Plastidip the badge is next. In regards to rubbing on front plastic, my 285/70/18 grapplers rubbed that bad. I didn’t cut mine, just unattached it and shoved it into the bumper, then secured it. No cutting, looks great and gave me the room I needed.

Well, I decided to make another mod to the build with interior lighting made by Govee interior lighting. I will be installing the lights this coming weekend and will update with pictures. Has anyone else setup interior lighting in their Tundra?

Here is some pics from the Govee interior lighting. It took me around 30 mins to install them inside the truck. You can select all sorts of different color to making the color go with the music that is playing inside your vehicle.

I went and detailed the truck and applied some blacklight glaze from chemical guys to my paint. I think the paint turned out great and gave the truck a nice shine. The Torq Orbital Polisher saved me almost half the time and is worth every penny! Now thinking about replacing the front bumper here soon... :monocle:

Well, decided to upgrade my exhaust on Tundra, the TRD exhaust just wasn't loud enough for me... so I went with CORSA. Should be installing the exhaust sometime this week for a bday present to myself. Now I just need to sell my old TRD exhaust!

I could ship it to you, but you will have to pay for shipping unless you wanted to pick it up.

The shipping cost usually kills any type of deal that could originally be agreed upon. There may be a weekend Im coming to maryville in October but not 100% on it yet.
