Outfitting my 2020 PRO now, looking for imput on racks. I have a retrax cover that was just ordered and debating between a KBvoodoo rack and a Yakima overhaul HD. We transport paddleboards, and have a rooftop tent for 2 people, and dogs. Lets see some of your rack setups with the retrax covers.

I was in the same boat. Ended up
Ordering Uptopoverland setup for Labor Day. Haven’t gotten it yet but looks like it has some good functionality and it’s aluminum so nice and light

I have an OEM cover not Retrax but I thought I’d share my recent experience.
I went with KBVoodoo for my rack. I needed to haul paddle boards and my 12’ portabote and the 22” rack clears the cab. The tonneau brackets add 2” and puts the rack a couple inches above my middle brake light. The 18” + tonneau brackets would put the top rail about in the middle of the brake light. I think it would look nicer when not hauling to have it sit lower/more flush with the cab but the whole point for me was to clear the cab. BUT in hindsight I probably could have gone with the 18” (+2”) and used 4” kayak foam under my boards/boat when hauling. It’s probably not a bad thing that I am not blocking my brake light though.

That slide out tray is pretty sweet. How do you like it? Would you recommend it as an upgrade?
Since mine is so tall, I am thinking about additional side accessory panels. Although... I do not have any accessories to bolt to it yet, haha.

I have a RCI 12” with a Pace Edwards retractable tonneau cover. As mentioned above the tonneau brackets push it up a couple of inches. I found the 12” square in my rear view mirror previously, but now with the adapters the height is about perfect for my liking. If I were to put stuff on top, depending on height they would still fall in behind my cab instead of sticking out and catching a bunch of wind resistance.

personally i like it because it caters on my needs. I did add that slider just make use of that space between the top bars.
