Has anyone thought about fitting this bumper to the tundra? Dimensions can't be that far off, I haven't done any measurements or much research. The little I did do turns up nothing. Maybe the pros could chime in...

I'm not sure about that bumper but this guy was able to make one work. It came off a Tacoma. I think it looks great.

Call me crazy but they don't look so different to me aside from the over bar. Maybe a bit more ground clearance on the 4 runner version.

For some reason the lines just seem to match a lot better on the 4Runner to me. I'd like to see one in person.

I see it now, the center section below the winch is more sleek on the 4 runner, more squared off with a ridge on the Tundra.

Yessir, that sahara bumper is puke worthy....no chrome ever on my dark beast

I think the look of the tacoma full brush guard looks the best next to the ultimate best....brute force fab

If it's an easy bracket relocation or drilling a few new holes I'm all in for $900 shipped. Powder coated, warranty, and at almost $5-600 less than brute force. Ready to ship too

I recall on the ARB Safari there was an option for no bar. Not sure if thats still available, I think that bar is too fat and not black enough myself. Makes it look like some kind of pep boys bush bar thing.

Brute force fab makes a great bumper for first gens that looks similar and also gives some headlamp protection.

Okay, not sure how I was supposed to know you needed it right away. Good luck with your modifications. Please post instructions if you do adapt another bumper. My guess would be you will just have to cut and relocate the mounting plates to match up to the different frames. If they are close in size then maybe you can just redrill to fit.

For sure worth the wait for the brute force. You weren't supposed to know buddy was just throwing that in there because noted above the arb's are ready to ship. One site is $900 and I'd get it in 4 days. I was concerned about body lines and if the headlight protection covered up the lights etc. But after seeing a few pictures now I think it could work and look very good at that. On expedition portal a guy put a 100 series arb on a double cab but pic links are gone.

It does look goofy in those pics...but I've seen two of them on DCs...one is a neighbor and I see his truck at least 5 times a week. It looks much better in person than it does in those pics. Not saying it's the best looking option, but it doesn't look bad at all. It's looks don't give me pause, but it's price does. If I found a used one at a good price I would not hesitate to buy it.

@Surf_spear_Mex I meant to tell you that Basil has pictures of the install on his page. Click on the Tundra Build Button and you'll find them. Are you still considering the ARB bumper?

I'm not sure if I will have time or the space to do any modifications like that before I leave on my trip. Seems like a good welder could whip it out fairly quick though. I found the bumper on Ebay for $860 free shipping but the cost incurred with fabricating will put me into brute force territory. Might just hold off until I can get one from BFF
