I have been on the hunt for a bed storage solution and haven't pulled the trigger because I am not a fan of what is out there.

I came across Valhalla Outdoor Research and they have what I perceive to be the best option for modular storage panels but they do not currently make for the Tundra. I reached out to them and looks like the Tundra is 3rd in line to a couple of other 'more popular' models.

When I reached out they did say they were looking for someone in Washington who could test the product, so wanted to post here for 2 reasons.

    1. Anyone in Washington interested in testing their molle panel solution, should reach out to them and find out the particulars.

    2. Are there enough people interested in this that we could get a group buy/pre-buy together?

I like their option because they offset it to sort of tuck it into the recess of the bed by a couple of inches which is beneficial for maximizing storage. They also extend the grid the whole length of the panel which to me is more functional and increases utilization of the space.

    Thoughts? Comments? Discussion?

    Here is the Silverado option.

I think @ragofabrication, @CaliRaisedOffroad and victory 4x4 offer similar solutions for the Tundra that are already in existence and ready to go. I see the minor detail of how this one is recessed by an inch or so, so if you want to wait that long, then go for it. Cool products all around.

But if we don't have air bags in the truck bed, where are we supposed to mount their racks to?

    Too soon?

Yeah I have seen them but lots of wasted space and less functional imo. Matter of opinion just checking interest.

Thanks for sharing. I am looking for something that covers the full bed side however.

I just installed a set of CaliRaised side mole panels. Sure there’s a bit of wasted space behind them, but that’s more due to the convoluted inner panel mouldings, rather that any lack of design effort on their part. Kinda unfair to compare with the Silverado - first, because, Chevy :puke:- but also because the Silverado panels are way more uniform... The CaliRaised ones are tucked back as far as they can be while utilizing existing holes. Liking them so far!
