More like Atlanta, the only team to lead the whole time and still lose. See Superbowl 51 as well.

good teams find a way to win, bad teams find a way to lose. Atlanta is the latter.

As interesting as it is to see Cam Newton playing for the Pats it’s hard to see Tom Brady in another uniform.

Not that I want to see anyone hurt, but he did get a proper welcome. And the next guy too. Seven sacks and two take aways, great. Claypool TD was awesome, made me listen to Primus. 90 yards of defensive penalties and 2 turnovers ain't going to cut it though, not against KC or BAL.

....and the crazy thing is the mules were still in it at the end until the non existent O line allowed another sack...at Pittsburgh. Not a mule fan at all but the Steelers were playing at home.

In the mules' defense, Pittsburgh hasn't run a safety blitz like that in years. No way for the offense to know what's coming. I think that was only Edmonds second sack in 3 years.

I have been listening to the games on my tunny or garage radio. I haven't "watched" a game yet. My diehard coworker Bronco fans don't even acknowledge NFL yet. One coworker only talked about the US Open today. Last night's game was 17% lower than last year. I'm thinking the same tonight on ESPN only worse. But.....then again, I'm a Dodger fan and the Rockies suck again. Maybe my friend's at work are just being "Silent Bob's".....heh....heh..

I’m a Bronco fan. I support a Tank for Trevor approach to the season. Why go 5-11 when you can go 1-15 and grab the stud you need. Lock is OK but I don’t think he’s a special talent.

Bottom line in Denver. When Pat Bowlen stopped running the team it was all down hill from there. He was a special owner and the needed leadership the team lacks. Until they figure out the ownership saga they will be a lost franchise. At this point, I wish they would put them up for sale.
I miss Pat Bowlen. I was lucky to meet him once and he seemed to be an incredible man.

Pat Bowlen was one of the greatest NFL team owners. He always wanted a great team on the field. The fans are so loyal and they expect excellence. Losing at home was rare. Unthinkable. The Broncos sucked for a long time early on but Bowlen fixed that. Jerry Jones would shine Bowlen's shoes. No comparison at all between the two. Bowlen never interferred.

Agreed. Pat Bowlen was someone special. I work across the street from the Broncos practice facility in Dove Valley. Pat would go to lunch at the Perfect Landing every day and sit at the same table. I often took clients here and would see Pat enjoying his lunch. John Elway did great things for this franchise as a player but I doubt he is the leader we need to run our organization. Tank for Trevor is cool with me.
