Does anyone have experience with this dealership? What was your experience like? I can’t believe they have so much inventory on hand according to there website. Too good to be true? I would be an out of town buyer looking at a pro and they say they have 5 on the lot, my local dealership doesn’t even have 5 tundras, let alone pros.

I was going to link that but you beat me to it.

They do have a good bit of inventory between their two dealerships. (Toyota World and Toyota Country)
Their philosophy seems to be focused on “sneaky” profit, for lack of a better term. They do a ton of aftermarket mods on vehicles and charge excessive markup on them. Then they pull the finance office BS like I detailed in my post.
They try to make excessive profit on adders and financing. A lot of dealerships try that, which I’m used to. I know how to handle that. Them trying to stick to their BS is what killed the deal for them. I called them on it, and gave them the opportunity to cut the shit. (The eavesdropping on our conversation just made it hilarious.)
I’d say that if you want to deal with them, do it all remotely until you’re satisfied, and watch the paperwork like a hawk.

BTW, that salesman still messages me on occasion when they get more Pros in.

There’s actually a good amount of Pros available in Houston. 75% of them are Army Green for some reason. The others I’ve seen are black or MGM.

Yeah just in the brief txt messages I exchanged with them they seem a bit aggressive and shady

they sent over this spec sheet and I don’t know where they are hiding 4 thousand dollars worth of upgrades
    upload_2020-9-16_14-25-12.jpg

I can only imagine dealing with the finance guys. Eavesdropping would be a complete deal breaker and I would call them on it then and there. Big violation of privacy.

Everything in that right column of the "Selected Options and Packages" section sounds like a total load of BS to me.

The 'Installed Options" for $4k is maybe worth $1k, maybe only $500.
They may not come off of very much tho. Wait till closer to end of month, they get a bit more hungry to make their sales quotas.
Have your financing prearranged and refuse any adders they push on you.
    Good luck!

Must be one helluva expensive USB-C cable in that connectivity kit (solid gold connectors, maybe) and the dual illuminated charging port must use unicorn tears for fuel to power the glow.

I've bought from Fred Haas using the carpro website. Dealt with Ryan Bullock who shot me straight from the beginning. Bought my wife's 2019 Rav4 and almost bought a Tundra but decided on a used one at another dealership. They gave me the pricing up front, found the car I wanted coming in and when I went to financing he showed me the options but didnt push anything. Toyota wasn't offering aything special on financing at the time and we got a better rate through the credit union. signed the papers and hit the road. took about an hour. Finance guy was an asian guy. I have his card somewhere. He was very pleasant and when I said no to something he moved on. Easiest experience of my life buying a car from a dealership. Honestly I ended up buying my used Tundra from a different dealership, Sterling McCall in Fort Bend because they had a used truck for a great price that I jumped on. Actually my buying experience there wasnt too bad either. Salesman was upfront, quick and they didnt try to hit me for the add ons of tint and fabric protection that were on a small add on sticker on the truck when I looked at it. I don't think they were even done to the truck because the tint looked oldish anyway. Finance guy was typical but didnt really lie or be shady with financing. It was an older truck and he gave me a better rate than my credit union right off the bat. The financing didn't matter much anyway, it was just a way to get the deal done that day. I'm paying the truck off in 3-6 months anyway after selling my old truck and moving some money around. He was hard selling the warranty and maintenance plans but I don't buy that stuff ever. I've sold the warranties and stuff myself so I never buy them unless it makes sense financially. And it never does for the most part, unless you're buying a shit car that you're going to own past the bumper to bumper warranty. He told me I was brave for buying an older vehicle with higher miles and no warranty. I told him I'm not brave - I just know how to pick em. And if it breaks I can fix most of it myself. Im not brave just educated and I know the odds are in my favor. If I was buying a used audi we might be having a different conversation. But I don't buy used audis or chryslers or fiats. lol. He gave up after that and got me out the door quick to focus on upselling some other sucker. They were kinda busy that day.

I saw your options listed and did some homework. Some of the Option are addon's listed on the Toyota website like the Spray in bed liner

BL - Cargo Bed Lights ( PT94834170)(Toyota parts website) 155.00
    BT - Spray-on Bed - (Toyota website) 579
SA - Center console Safe - (Toyota website) 359
TI - TRD inlay package - (Toyota website) 99
    R2 - Side Steps - (Toyota website) 535
TL - Power Tailgate Lock (Toyota website) 269.00
DT - windows tins ( no dealerships will add premium tins this will be the cheapest and shittiest tints but will charge you premium ) so + or - $500.00
CP - scratch protection - (Toyota website) 395.00
    P4 - Vehicle protection premium package. I believe this is a home-brewed package similar to this https://toyotaofgrandrapids.com/protection-packages so + or - $1000.00
CH - Charging connectivity kit ( i believe this is going to be china town edition kit but will charge you premium ) so + or - $20.00

So this Adds up to 39XX + installation + tax = will end up around that 4092.00
I don't believe it's worth that much or even anywhere close.

We bought my wifes 2016 Highlander from them but now buy from Gullo up the road where i bought my 2018 TSS and then traded that in for a 2020 TRD Pro. Like others have said is Fred Hass likes to add their own mods and charges high mark ups on those add on options. I like the more stripped down model then add my own aftermarket. Just make sure to decide which dealer your going to buy from and perhaps wait until all the dealers get in the same truck model. It does also help to buy at the end of the month. But send emails to all the dealers you can within a 100 miles and get prices on the same truck, don't worry about the color on the quotes. Then tell the other dealers this dealer is selling me this truck for X and keep playing them against each other. I ended up getting my Pro $3000 under sticker. Hope this helps.
