No, tundras are a 5x150 bolt pattern and the runners/tacos are a 6x139.7 or something like that

After a few weeks running 255/75/17's Cooper Discoverer AT3, I am very pleased with the upgrade. Much better ride, no loss on street drivability and not having to swap out to winter wheels/tires is a nice bonus.

    Update on my tires...
Didn't like losing the height I had with my 18". Read the return policy from America's Tire and gave them a call.
Wound up swapping the 285-70-17s for 285-75-17s at no cost (they even covered the labor!)

Added the Coachbuilder 1/2" bumper shims (easy install if you do it from underneath and you don't have to remove the bumper)
Took a heat gun to the front mud flaps behind the wheel and pushed them in.
    No rubbing

I quit the 17” club this morning. Just couldn’t get used to the tires sticking out past the body (probably due to my age...) Went back to 18” wheels with 285/75/18s.

Tried to post them in the classifieds here but wasn’t allowed because I haven’t posted 50 times yet. If you’re in Southern California and looking for a great set of wheels/tires I’ll have them on Craigslist this weekend....

@Mondoburr how do you like the leveling kit on the stock 17? Thinking about getting on vs 5100 or 6112 as my 2018 is almost brand new (13k miles).

were you rubbing without the shim or was this just a precautionary measure?

I really like the leveling kit since I like the front a little higher but don’t need a really beefy suspension for the things I do. Just picked up a full set of the red TRD sport shocks so I’ll be putting those on soon.
I didn’t have stock 17s I had Method Wheels but just went back to the stock 18”s.

Once I took the little front flaps off there was no rubbing.
I added the shims for a little extra clearance.

Leveled, front bumper, LED headlight conversion. Soon - S&B Cold Air, Bilstein 6112/5160's, 35's.
Just put some 17" wheels on my 2016 this last weekend. Fuel Vector wrapped in 35x12.50 Mazama Open Range AT's. Despite the multiple reports I received of guys running the same setup without body mount rub, I am getting a bit at full turn, thus I will be doing a body mount chop after all. However, I am beyond stoked with how the truck looks. The minimum lift allows for the tires to fill the wheel wells really nicely and gives the truck that aggressive look. Practicality wise, it's not too tall to throw stuff(kayaks and storage boxes) up on the roof. It also rides really nice in the back country.
