Got a call from my dealer just now. They were able to get their hands on a white PRO. Build date is 10/15, ETA is a couple weeks after. Traded with a dealer 1,500 miles from Oregon. Cant wait!

    That’s awesome.
‘21s will probably be the last batch of 5.7L V8s made. Enjoy!

I guess it kinda depends. Do you want a deal or do you want the truck of your dreams. I would imagine that choices for colors/options/packages for 2020's will start drying up between normal end of year run and Covid shutdown. So maybe you can get a good deal on a 2020, but if it isn't the color you want or doesn't have the options you want is it worth it? Or will you regret it when the new wears off?

My salesman called and they finally have an allocation with a build date of 10/15. Lunar Rock, probably in the minority here but I’m liking the color after seeing some actual pics and not the computer generated garbage that Toyota put out. Now the waiting begins.

When did you order yours? I ordered mine 4 weeks ago today. I texted the salesman this morning and he said it has been allocated but he doesn’t have a build date yet.

Originally June 30th, ordered an Army Green and dealer had a hell of time trying to get one and other dealers wanted an arm and a leg to trade for one. I wasn’t willing to travel to another dealer and with the price I was given on my trade I decided to stick with my salesman and went with the Lunar Rock. If I’m not mistaken I ordered it the day after Toyota started taking orders on the 2021s. So I would guess about 4 weeks.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully I’ll get a build date soon. You’re going to love your Pro. They’re fantastic trucks.

I can’t wait to get it, 1st Pro and already looking at upgrades. Love my Tacoma but it just doesn’t suit my needs anymore. Hopefully you get the build date soon.

Given the shortages we were seeing over the past few months, I would think there just aren't that many 2020s left on lots. I was told that my Cavalry blue was the only DC of that color within 1,000 miles at the time, in So California (last month).

So I'm thinking about a new Tundra. I currently have a 2006 with the 6.5 foot bed...thats a must have for me. Am I understanding the trims for both the 20s and 21s that if I want the 6.5 foot bed, I have to compromise on things like the sliding vertical rear window and sunroof which appear to be only available on the crewmax models?

That is correct. No vertical sliding window, no sun roof. But at least your truck still looks like a truck ;)

Its sounds like it should be $277 under MSRP. So right about 55k. Talked to lots of dealers that wanted 5-10k over MSRP. Anything at or near MSRP is about the best you can do, especially in todays environment.

    Alot of them
The SR5 Double Cab has the manual sliding window in the middle. I don't know why they did away with the electric slide option. But they also took away the door pocket and cup holders from the rear doors on the Double cabs.
