@coexplorer here is what the fabric looks like when you drop the top. It tucks super quickly and isn't really difficult.

That doesn’t look like it’s too much of a hassle. Much better than the RTT I had in the past. Thanks for the additional photos, that is really helpful.

I did a cmc and pinch weld mod. I haven't welded in a plate yet, I want to cycle the suspension before I finish it up completely. I'll grab pictures of the cmc and pinch weld later today.

Here is a picture of the cmc and pinch weld. The cmc isn't plated yet so I can be sure it clears. And I cut the bottom corner of the fender also.

I installed all the suspension on Monday. It rides great with the ADS stuff. Pretty easy install with no issues other than having to drill out one of the new uca bushing sleeves from MCM due to one end not being finished.

I didn't get quite as much lift out of the rear springs as I was hoping, and I'm not even fully loaded yet and don't have the rear bumper on. But they ride well paired with the bypasses. They need a little tuning to perfect.

Regarding your critter problem, there’s a thread on here about some guys covering up the vent holes that lead from the engine bay into the cab.

So that has been my question all along...whether the fender liner goes back in in anyway. Your pic just answered my question man, appreciate it. Did you know how much front lift you got?

I've seen than mod for the Tacoma too. I have never had that issue before though. I think he jumped in some of our stuff that we had out in camp one of the nights. I'll look I to that mod a little bit though. It was a little stressful knowing we had something in the cab.

I'm sure you could mod the liner to work, but I didn't think it was necessary.

I got about 1.5" over the pro height.

We went camping on 8/28 and 8/29 near Cloudcroft NM. We found a spot near town the first night. When we were wrapping up dinner a group pulled in to a spot about an eighth of a mile down the road and decided to play music and party until about 2 in the morning. And about the time we went to bed a giant camp trailer pulled into the same spot as us and unloaded about 6 kids that yelled and screamed until midnight. What started as a nice peaceful spot turned into a terrible location. We packed up as soon as we woke up the next morning and left. The people in the camper immediately pulled into our spot with their truck and began riding their 4 wheeler up and down the road and up several trails that were clearly marked hiking only.
This area has been completely over run and I can see why the forest service is considering closing several roads and trails.

    IMG_20200828_171633064.jpg
    IMG_20200828_171723990.jpg
    27051.jpg
    27048.jpg

When we were looking for another camp spot, we tried a location we have camped at before. What we found was a little disappointing. What used to be a nice single spot at the top of a hill was closed off. This is what happens when people make bypasses around the road when it's too difficult.

    IMG_20200828_164155149_HDR.jpg

After finding that we moved on to find another spot. We drove a couple forest roads in the area and found a couple potential spots. When we tried to cross a road we had never tried before we ended up wasting about an extra hour and a half. On the map the road connected the two highways together, but after 45 minutes the road just disappeared and left us in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do but go back the way we came.

After we finally made it out of that detour we headed back in to town to meet up with my parents who decided to come over and camp with us for the night. After a little while in town we headed back out to a campsite we had selected hoping it would still be unoccupied. Fortunately it was far enough out of town to be empty and we only had one vehicle drive past our site that night.

    27027.jpg
    27040.jpg

The next morning was just a quick trip down one of the forest roads down to Alamogordo to wrap up the weekend.

For Labor Day weekend we decided to get out of town and get out to a spot we knew wouldn't be packed. This is a favorite location of ours because on a normal weekend you can be up there for 3 days and not see a single vehicle and this weekend we only saw about 7 or 8 UTV's per day. The utv traffic was mostly hunters out for opening weekend.

It was a solid test for the new suspension and I'm very pleased with the performance. The bypasses are very loud but ride like a dream, and the 37's ride great when they are aired down.

Most of the weekend was spent just hiking around and relaxing around camp with a quick drive up to the towers at the peak.

Do you have an issues with those wheel specs in the front rubbing on the coilover reservoirs? I’m not a fan of the 0 offsets for 17” wheels but don’t want run into tires hitting reservoirs with the wheels in more.

Also, can the atlas be used as a wedge if you wanted to?

I haven't noticed any rubbing on the reservoirs yet. I think with the tires only being 11.5 wide it helps a bit. I'll look at it Saturday morning when I get off and see how close it gets.

And with the way the latches are configured I wouldn't think it would be possible to hold the front down, and the bifolding panel inside the camper would take up about 18" of the sleeping platform.

We added little mesh pockets to the ceiling of the camper before last weekend. Really cheap addition to the camper that turned out to be really convenient. We can keep our phones, headlamps and other miscellaneous stuff up there and out of the way at night.

I finally got a chance to look at the clearance on the reservoirs. At ride height it clears by quite a bit and there aren't any rub marks on them from a couple weekends worth of wheeling.

Last weekend I installed the rough country speedometer recalibrator. Pretty easy install and with a little experimenting I got it dialed in where I want it.

The truck definitely has more clearance now with the 37's and suspension.

Here's some pictures from this last weekend. We went out and checked out some of the local forest roads. Some of the trees were changing, but it will definitely be more colorful in a few weeks.

    29983.jpg 29980.jpg

And the 37's are still awesome. The truck flexes pretty well, but I have a little rubbing in the top of the rear fender when I'm all the way on the bumps, but I think that can be easily mitigated.

    29987.jpg 29989.jpg
    29985.jpg

It's not all the way stuffed in these pictures, but it still looks awesome.

No real updates lately, just been out camping and a few different weekend trips to the Jemez in northern NM with my parents and my brother and his wife.

A rear bumper and sliders are coming soon, I just need to get a few more customer bumpers out the door.

Great build! You live in a nice area to explore. An I would be interested in that front bumper if you decide to build more, wink, wink.
