Does anyone know when the 2021 will arrive or when the new model has arrived in the past? One dealer said 4 months and one said 4 weeks.

Dealers might get them at different times. Sometime between now and end of the year.

    Wait.
If the 4th gen is amazing, get one. If it's not your cup of tea, maybe the 2020 will have better incentives since they will want to move them.

2021 is same as 2020, minor changes mostly cosmetics.
the 4th gen is 2022 model but we should start seeing pictures at the big auto shows next year

I decided to buy a 2020 now. The 2021 will be no different and there are great incentives on the 2020s right now. 5+ years from now, the second to last year of the current body style (2020) will be just as valuable as the last year (2021).

The best financial decision is to wait until next year....pay off some other stuff first. I did put it in carvana last night as stock and it was up to 17,878.

I guess I was off by a year.

I'd still wait to get the latest before the big switch. If people hate the hybrid, the 5.7 should hold a lot of value.

true however Toyota Hybrid cars been selling like hot cakes. I expect the trucks to be the same.
funny the 3rd gen Tacomas everyone complain about the smaller engine and transmission but all I see on the roads are 3rd gen tacomas around here. Toyota makes it, people buy it.

I ordered a 2021 Pro yesterday in Tallahassee. The salesman said it should arrive in 6-8 weeks. Maybe he’s an idiot. Time will tell.

I reserved a 2021 pro DC last week and my dealer said Utah production will by mid September with normal delivery 2-4 weeks, but this year might be 3-6. Hope he's right!

Did you have to place a deposit? And just curious.....I would think you have zero negotiating power when pre ordering a vehicle that doesn’t even have a release date yet. Are you locked into a price? How does that work ordering it already?

I put down a 500 dollar refundable/ transferable deposit to be first on the waitlist for a Lunar Rock DC. If I change my mind, I can pull out and put it towards something else. And nope, not expecting any discount, and don't even have a price yet. It seems every upgraded tundra coming through the interwest is already reserved before it hits the lot, so I wanted to put my name on the list asap. I'm in a unique situation where this is a work truck and my employer told me to get my dream car, so while I tried to talk myself into a sr5 or limited OR, I couldn't stop thinking about the Pro and my boss told me to go for it. Can't pass up that offer!

My dealer has 5- 2021's on their lot, 1794 being highest trim model. I have not seen a Pro there yet but suspect any day. Once I do I'm going to go see if any differnce between my 2020 and new 2021.

Yeah I was wondering if anything is different between 2020 and 2021. So far it doesn't seem like it.

Actively searching for a 21, so far this is what I've seen in the PNW for arrivals. Crewmax builds are arriving in October and Double cab in either November or December. A little behind schedule and a lot lower total volume.

They have 2 2021 Lunar Rock Pro Tundras at Valdosta Toyota. Just looked at them a couple of hours ago. Beautiful trucks but I’d rather have Super White.
