This is the camp I fall in. I didn’t spend all this money to have it sit in the garage. The Tundra gets me to and from work and all the places in between. They are built to be driven and enjoyed! That’s why you buy a Toyota instead of one of the big three, you know they will stand up to the abuse over time. I get where you are coming from OP, but enjoy that beast! Don’t let it get old in the garage. Drive the vehicle you paid an arm and a leg for. Not to mention I bet it’s a hell of a lot safer than the beater. Life is short, enjoy your nice things. At the end of the day they are just things

Semi-daily for me now. The Woman works from home, so I take her Corolla S for my 20min commute to work. We also use it for running around town. My truck gets driven on weekend trips and the few times a week The Woman needs to run an errand while I'm at work. Monday to Friday, I almost never drive my truck these days. :( My truck is 15 years old and has 190,000KMS on it. If I can keep the mileage down, prolong its life and save on fuel, I gotta do it these days.

We have an Airstream 25FB Flying Cloud (GVWR 7300 pounds)
    Tundra pulls it great.

Im not running any lift on my Tundra, but I did add Firestone Ride Rite system to keep it from Squatting.

We only have two vehicles and my wife refuses to drive the truck so I daily it the 8 km (5 miles) to work. We also take it on our camping trips because trying to tetris everything into the Corolla is a headache I no longer feel like dealing with.

I try to take her car for everything else unless I need the space of the truck, such as runs to Home Hardware or the eco station.

I'm not too concerned about the short trips to work because I put on so few miles that if I change the oil once a year, that will be a ~8000 km (5000 mile) interval.
