Looking to lift that off the truck to remediate rust.

I had no way to measure the weight of the bed when removed.

Myself, and three other adults were able to lift from the ground, and set the bed back on the frame. I feel like it's worth mentioning that one of them was my mom who has arthritis, and one of them was my older brother who is seriously out of shape.

Myself, and the other person are just typical run of the mill adults. Nothing special.

If I had to guess-timate? I would say around 450-500lbs.

Edit: I was able to remove the bed by myself. Using the four hooks in each corner of the bed, ratchet straps, and a swing frame made of old Derrick drill pipe

Hmm, if it did not take much effort with 4 people, I can't even imagine each person had to lift 100 lbs. Was everyone in full control and found it easy to set on the ground or sawhorses? Perhaps it may be around 75lbs/person, and that lands it around 300 lbs?

My friend, and I had a lot of the weight. Its been 3 months, and I've slept since then. My guess-timate might be over exaggerated a little.

We all had a good sense of control, but our range of motion was UP, and forward to cab. Didn't need to go far.

We all felt fine, and did not feel we had just accomplished some herculean task, if that makes sense?

Here is me, and dad discussing. This is a hyper lapse so it looks more effortless than it was, but it was pretty easy to manipulate once on the ground.

Word of caution though. Standing the bed up basically creates an almost top heavy sail... ask me how I know.

I went through this just a few months ago. I got it off the frame using ratchet straps suspended from the garage roof joists. Yeah, I’d put the weight around 3-400 pounds.
