The old girl may have just priced herself out of my life. I’ve been dealing with a parasitic drain for a year now. First two mechanics could not find it. Finally a trusted mechanic who specializes in electrical issues traced it to a control module that deals with the dome light and cargo light. That little baby costs $1700 from Toyota. Add to that the bad exhaust manifold and I think I may just deal with it until I can afford to upgrade.

Can’t you potentially find that part in a junkyard?

I had a similar problem, turned out to be a low battery and the driver side seat belt was not retracting all the way causing the door not to shut all the way.
