I am a fan of simplicity, so enjoy the SR5 trim level.

Even when I get into my wife's 2020 Rav, I'm overwhelmed with the dual climate, digital readings and bells and whistles. I'll take the large climate knobs and vents over hers any day. As for sunroof and leather seats, I'm in WPG where it's -30 for 1/2 the year, so have never owned them and guess I don't know what I'm missing.

    Man I sound old. :(

I wish my double cab had the power rear window (just the slider part would be fine by me if not the whole roll down thing). Heated leather seats would be nice where I live. leather wheel? meh. Push button start isn't that big of a deal for me. 20K less miles on almost the same truck would be sweet but the 100k powertrain warranty on a CPO is tough to beat vs the 36k factory on the new truck. You're gonna want better tires than the stockers anyway so thats a push. The apple carplay would be a nice upgrade too, but not a necessity for me.

If they give you the 100k powertrain warranty included in that 7k I'd go make the swap today.

I just looked up my value and I'm so happy I'm no longer upside down in my loan to value. Back in May I was in a Mercedes E350 that was depreciating just by looking at it. I stopped the bleeding in May and found my Truck and I can gladly say I'm no longer upside down. I say go with what makes you feel good. Either way you will have a truck that will hold it's value. I plan to keep my truck until my kid starts to drive then she can have it. I have about 4 years.

7k gets you a lot in an SR5. You can get re-geared, a rear locker, maybe a lift and new tires. However, it's your cash at the end of the day, and if you got it, and want to spend it, do it:spending:

    GOT ONE!

2020 Tundra DC Limited, white. Local dealer had one just in. They gave me a $3,900 difference in price. My trade was $39,800 and their sale price was $43,700. I think that's a HELL of a deal. They also are going to swap out my TRD rear sway bar and step bars on my old and install on the 2020.

Congrats on the new ride. And remember, no matter what we all think, YOUR opinion and happiness with your vehicle is what matters the most.

The new Tundras are just a few decades away, just wait it out. Plus, In 3 months the 2021 models will make you feel outdated again like you do now.
