Alright guys so I hope to get a lot of information along with many personal accounts to help make my decision.

This week I recently pulled the trigger and ordered my suspension parts from @Toytec Lifts and cant wait for the coilovers to come in, and also got some durobumps from @sdhq_offroad and purchased my Camburg Ball Joint UCA's but the dealer contacted me saying they are on back order till mid to late October but offered some alternatives, specifically Dirt King.

This is my first true suspension makeover as I have been on a pro comp nitro spacer lift and am swapping everything out. I really wanted Camburg and can def wait for them but I have no experiance or knowledge until this week about Dirt King. Now not bashing Camburg at all but I think we have all read of the alignment issues some people experiance along with the horror stories associated with them but I also know A LOT of people run Camburg. The sales rep I am dealing with even said they are taking off their Camburg for Dirt King cause they ran into alingment issues.

Dirt King seems like a solid product and company but kind of surprised by their statement of " No warranty is expressed or implied on all products sold or manufactured by Dirt King Fabrication.". Now dont get me wrong Camburg is similar with "Due to the extreme and punishing nature of off road use, Camburg Engineering products have no implied or expressed warranty." And then you have JBA with a lifetime warranty "JBA has a lifetime warranty on the structural integrity of our UCAs. One year warranty on ball joints and bushings".

I was dead set on Camburg all year but now am giving thought to Dirt King just so I can get my kit installed sooner rather than later and have read, watched, and looked into much information on JBA Heavy Duty UCA's and really like them as well.

So if you could please help me out with any personal knowledge, info, experience both good and bad it would really help. Thanks!

I got told the same wait time for the Camburg ball joint arms by a 3rd party vendor. Called Camburg directly, received them the next day. I haven’t installed them yet so i can’t answer your questions on alignment but if you’re still wanting Camburgs give em a call, you’ll likely get what you want.

I put the JBAs on my truck about 3,xxx miles ago and the ride has been fantastic. My alignment seems perfectly fine, no pulls, shakes, steering wheel is straight and I'm cruising with my knee on 35s. Now it's not many miles yet but i'm not too worried about it. I've been offroad as much as any weekend warrior, scouting for hunting, some dirt trails, and taking the dirt scooter places. The customer service with JBA is top notch. I bought right in the break-out of Covid so my shipping time was a little longer, but that was expected. Maybe like 4 days longer than though so nothing crazy. I planned on going with Camburg originally, but after trying to go through them directly, then being sent to a third party, then getting the run around, and all that fun stuff, I knew that wasn't the route I needed to take. The addition of the warranty is what sold me on the JBAs. The fit an finish of the JBAs is high quality as well,(welds & powder coat) and the price is much more reasonable than Camburgs. Hopefully this helps a bit my friend!

@WhatsFinished? thank you very much, that was a great description and opinion that I am taking highly into consideration. For all your points I completely agree especially with the warranty part, most other companies dont offer anything like that so it is a plus for me as well. The maintenance seems quite easy and I know they stand behind their product.

If you are running less than 3" of lift, personally I'd go a different route from Camburg.

@14burrito gonna be at 3" or at least that's what I am going for, wont know where I am actually sitting at until they are installed. What are your reasons for going a different route?

Too much built in caster to use with less than 3" of lift. Actually hinders aligment #s and larger tire fitment.

@14burrito that's what I've been hearing but again didnt want to bash Camburg cause they do make some great stuff and once I heard that, it's what made me consider Dirt King and JBA

I'm a big fan of Camburg. Have always run their stuff including LT kit on my 08 Taco.

    Everything has pros and cons.

Now that Im closer to 2.75", find myself in a situation where I will benefit going away from their uniball upper. Very much considering the billet Icons.

@14burrito I would love to do the billet Icons or Camburg but a little out of the price booklet, but also for my application and driving its probably overkill at that point. Just need/want something with damn good quality, great price, and good warranty.....which is pretty much JBA at this point I guess but just cant find a whole lot about them along with Dirt King, and only thing stopping me on Dirt King is the warranty or customer service if they were to ever mess up or go out.

The maintenance is less than that of a uniball and all you need is a tube of heavy duty grease and a grease gun. Easy to grease up and check torques. The Ball joint is mostly covered with a rubber housing to hold the grease in. My lift itself isn't huge and the built in camber and castor is right in the sweet spot for a 3-3.5 in. lift. I'm on 17s with a 0 offset. Personally, I think if you're smashing some offroad and more intense use, the Camburgs Uniball in combination with other mods is the way to go. If you're looking for a ball joint and something to make larger fitment with better wheel travel and certainly higher quality than stock, I don't think there is a better option than JBA.

Why not SPC? They're made in CO and have better than expected customer service...just throwing that out there...

@HulkSmurf14 Just wasn't crazy about them or the idea of the adjustability of them with someone installing them (I dont have time with 2 kids under 2 to slap them on so taking it to a shop) along with the appearance sadly......but got sold on JBA and ended up going with them and will keep everyone updated on how the install goes and how they perform.

I have JBAs on both my Tundra and 4Runner, fantastic quality and customer service. I have a 3" on the Tundra and the caster is right at 3 degrees. They may not be as adjustable as the Icons or SPCs both I don't need them to be. Plus they are made in the US which is a big plus in my book.

Anyone tried the new Dobinson Bilet UCA? Looks super clean and the maintenance seems to be none which I like lol. Anyone using them I would love to hear feedback!
