Been lurking for a while, decided I should just make an account to help me keep up with good info, check out these sweet trucks, and of course show off mine. I haven't had my Tundra long, since about January, and upgrading from a 2nd gen Pre-runner. Bought my new truck stock and have been upgrading consistently since. I've done all the work myself less the BMC, which I got a local shop to do, and would love to help out anyone I can debating on making some mods. Ill attach some pics of course.

Welcome from Knoxville. I'm not usually a fan of the turd gens but I really like the stance you have on yours. It looks great. What size tire is that?

Welcome from Clarksville. We may be heading out that way before too long. Any good "easy" off-road trails where you are?

Nice! I love the area, its beautiful, not crazy populated, and the FISHING! I was Checking out your build thread, Nice truck man! You experienced any negatives with the bed rack? I've gotta find a solution to hauling fishing poles and not taking up the whole bed and keeping them protected. Not really feeling a roof rack, truck sets too tall.

Most of the off-road "trails" around here are pretty tight and you wouldn't wanna be in a big ole Tundra, but something with the wheelbase like a 2 door jeep. Brown Mountain over in NC, about 1.5hrs from me is nice, but again I certainly wouldn't take my truck through there. Same with Windrock over in Oliver Springs. Just too long and wide. If your truck is built for it, then by all means send it! But if you care about your paint or daily it then probably not the best idea. Cherokee National Forest is right in the backyard and its got some gravel/dirt roads with a few little mud spots to get the truck nice and dirty. I actually drove some out there this weekend and enjoyed cruising some dirt roads on Saturday morning. Its nothing crazy and the most stock of trucks would be fine. 4x4 if its crazy wet, but not necessary. I used to rip around up there in a prerunner in my wild days. You can have as much fun as your willing to abuse your vehicle:D Just wear orange if you're doing it during deer season lol

Yeah I was going to suggest exploring the forest service roads in Cherokee National Forest. Specifically the ones around Tellico Plains.

Also, if you are coming from Clarksville you could check out the Nemo Tunnel. Put it into Google Maps and it will take you to it. A stock truck can handle it as long as you have decent tires.

I haven't had a single complaint with this bed rack! It's been on the truck pretty much since I got it a year ago and its holding up great. I've even offroaded with it and it held strong!

Not too much so it sounds like Cherokee will be the way to go. I am still wanting to get out to LBL out this way and see what there is to explore out there.

We have actually marked this on our trip if we get to make it out there. And could you define "decent tires" please?

Any "all terrain" should do. I wouldn't try it on all season street tires.
