I got my hands on a set of 2020 TRD Pro BBS wheels and decided to have them powder coated.

Went with Textured Satin Black, its subtle change and hard to tell in the pics, matches the textured powder coat on my side steps. The main difference is the "PRO" & "BBS Forged" are now black which I like. The wheels in person have a different looks and feel with the texture. I had the wheels and center caps ceramic coated before mounting the tires (Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/70/18) The ceramic coating has been really nice, nothing sticks to the inside rim and or face of the wheels, they clean up with little hassle. Since the wheels are an open-spoke design, I had the brake rotors powder coated gloss black (rotor hat/vents and edges). MGP Caliper covers in red were on with my factory 20's but now they are fully visible and look awesome with the TRD Pro wheels. Final details, new black lugs and black TPMS valve stems.

    Gorgeous!

How much did you pay for them (rims and PC)? if you don't mind sharing.

I got a smoking deal on the TRD Pro wheels $1000 (they had light scratches from a tire shop but I intended on powder coating) which was $250 for 4 wheels. Ceramic coat was another $200 still ahead of the game cost wise for the TRD Pro wheels.

Quick pic crappy quality. I’ll post better pics

Nice! I went with a similar approach, but started with some standard (not Pro) TRD pull-offs and had them powder coasted a flat black as well.

Do you like the wheels, I had them powder coated MGM to match then I painted the T in the cap?

Those can be rattle-canned, powder-coated or there are a couple companies that make caliper specific paint kits.

Ahhh, sorry for the late response. Work & Life. The caliper covers are from MGP Caliper Covers, they are a bit pricey but fit perfect. They can be had in a bunch of colors and with different engraving.

Cant go wrong with Color Lug Covers, I had them before I bought black lug nuts. If the black lugs get chipped or discolor, I'll put the lug covers back on
