Buy the iHacker harness and OEM LED Headlights..OEM LEDS have the best low-beam output and even the high beams are phenomenal over the 2014 OEM halogens...

Morimotto are also good, not as good on low beams but slightly better on highbeams... they look different too in how they work (sequential turns)...

I went with OEM LEDs and they have blown my expectations away! Best upgrade I've done to the truck by far!

I was looking at just trying to get new bulbs or something for my stock 2014 headlights but have seen most people say I should just upgrade them all together

I swapped bulbs in Headlights and Fogs with 6500K LED.

Cost me $100 Canadian and made a world of difference. The stock ones sucked and sometimes I couldn't even tell if they were on.

You need to remove the entire grille and side front panels to gain access to H/L. Fogs just pop out from front.

Some don't agree with it, I didn't let that stop me. There are a few threads on the topic and show that the cutoff light line is fine and won't blind traffic with scattered light etc.

    For an immediate cheap quick fix;
Buy some regular Silverstar halogen bulbs, not the Ultras, they are too blue and don't last very long.

    SYLVANIA - 9003 SilverStar

Brighter and whiter light than the stock bulbs.

I'm going back and forth on the iHacker harness and OEM LED Headlights.
I really like my amber DRLs and I'd lose them with that mod..

Amber DRL delete is optional with @iHacker harnesses. If you don't de-pin or cut the gray wire, they automatically work as they always did without affecting LED DRL operation. I kept the amber DRL when I converted using the dimming harness.

But isn't the amber turn signal in the new headlight a single filament?
How does retain use as a DRL?
If I can keep the amber DRL I'll rally have to consider doing this..

I'd like to have the white LED DLRS dim all the time and still have the amber DLR.

Now, you're going to get me to speculating, postulating, and bs-ing. :D

@iHacker would have to explain how it works, but basically the ECU controls the DRL brightness (maybe by voltage?). There are two brightnesses for the DRL: one for 100% bright DRL (headlights off), one at 60% brightness (headlights on), and then (I'm guessing here), but maybe a third lower voltage for the park/turn signal when "park lights" on?

Edit: No, italics above incorrect. I just checked...the amber 7444NA bulb in my LED headlight was a two filament bulb. I replaced the amber bulbs with LED when I did my conversion.

The gray wire is the DRL. Leave the gray wire intact, tap-in the @iHacker black wire (assumes dimming harness), and you have both.
