By the sounds of it, this is out of your comfort range

    Take it to a mechanic.

Sounds like one of the seven freeze plugs is leaking.

Some people use a Dorman expanding plug.

I'm just guessing here, but I think "heater power block" might mean heater core. :monocle:

I was thinking that, but when he said plugged into....so now I'm totally confused. I could use a beer.

If it's the heater core, disregard my last. That is not an easy swap.

Probably since your vehicle is at operating temperature before starting in AZ.

This summer I saved money on preheating my gas grill, every time I went out to use it, the gauge was already lifted off the minimum temperature!

AZ is on my radar for retirement, but most likely in the NE part of the state. This guy doesn’t like that much heat.

I regularly head up north, less than 2 hours and it's 20-25 degrees cooler than the valley. And trees, there's pine trees up there instead of the brutal cacti. Wonderful place to retire, it's what I did from NYC 2 years ago.

Been looking in the Snowflake area.

TN, FL, GA, Carolinas have also been considerations. Heard Kentucky is nice. I’m tired of the Rocky Mountains and need a change. Hell, might pull a Dave Chapelle and disappear in Ohio. :eek2:
