    Hey Everyone,

I had trouble figuring out if 295/70r17 would fit on stock suspension so I figured I would post some insight. Tires are 295/70r17 Cooper ST Maxx on Icon Rebounds with 25mm offset. After removing front mud flaps and aero guards and trimming the liner we are rub free! I used the following link for cutting the liner. Hope this helps someone else!

By stock suspension... is your truck leveled? Or a TRD Model? Or just plan old stock? Thanks!

Thanks, I've ordered Black Rhino Stadiums, which have a +10mm offset instead of the +25mm you have with the Rebounds, so it will be a little tighter fit. I'm putting 5100s on the front end, but would like to keep the level at a minimum. I was thinking of going with 285/75r17s, but sounds like if I give up a .6 in diameter on the tire I will save myself a lot of trimming. Plus from what I've heard the 295/70r17s fit in the stock spare location with no mods (and the 295s are 1/2 inch wider, so more contact for mud).

I have a 285/75/r18 in my spare location. It’ll fit unless you have aftermarket shackles. My mechanic shop just hammered the alignment tabs back slightly.
And skinnyish (11.2” not that skinny) tires do great in mud and usually require less trimming on Tundras than wider tires. Nothing wrong with either size just trying to help you make the best decisions for you!

I have a 294/70/17 in spare location - no bending or cutting of tabs. Its a Mickey ATZ with Method 701; I have the have the face of the wheel up so as to limit marring...

Thanks! What the lift on yours? Wheel offset? Did you have to do a lot of trimming? I've read if I have +25 offset wheels the 285/75r17s will fit no problem, but they rub alot at 0 offset. I'm at +10mm, so I'll probably rub a good bit.

Ive got the stock TRD off road wheels which are +55 or 60 can’t remember. I have the Dobinsons 55mm(2.25”) in the front and probably Close to 3” of leaf pack lift in the rear when the camper’s not on. I only had to remove the front mud flap. There was minimal rub on the front sway bar at full lock (just a little paint rub), but it’s since been removed for a custom bash plate with no regrets. The coils I have are 740lb rate and make for little need for the front sway bar in my experience. I do know that the more poke you have the more trimming you’ll run into, but don’t think it’ll be an unreasonable amount with 34*11 tires. Typically +18 and +25 offsets are considered ideal for the tundra by most folks here.
