I think the important thing to remember with the Ramsey method is that he’s putting together this plan for the success of MOST people. Most people go for instant gratification. One purchase of a $50k truck and financing it won’t generally break someone should they lose a job or something along those lines where they get into a financial skid. It’s the justification of that purchase, followed by financing a $5k couch because it’s 0% interest, then buying a new home theater setup at Best Buy for $3k at 0%, then going slightly over budget on purchasing a house. All of a sudden you have $7k in monthly payments “at low interest rates”. What then happens if a member of the household loses a job and is out of work for an extended period of time. All of a sudden your “cheap payments” eat up all of the remaining bread winner’s paycheck. Then you get behind on a bill and it just snowballs from there.

I’m no hardcore Ramsey fanatic and in fact don’t agree with necessarily the order of his baby steps and his investing advice. But what he teaches, at a basic level, is to get the “average Joe” to live within their means and set themselves up for future success should the worst happen. The foundation of his baby steps (which I discovered a few years after graduating college) got me sitting here in my mid 30s, debt free outside of my house, and on track to retire at 50.

There’s plenty of other ways to make money faster than the Ramsey plan but at its roots it’s sound advice.

Live within your means, don’t over extend yourself, remember to save, and plan for future you. Easiest way to keep your money in your pocket as an average Joe working guy like most of us are.

So my understanding (not a lawyer) is that the windshield is not "tinted" it is instead a "UV Film" that does not have any tint applied to it, and that all films reduce transmittance of light in some way. Therefore it allows 70% of light to pass through the film even though there is no tinting applied to the film itself. It is therefore considered "clear". This is my understanding of how this windshield "film" works. Due to this it does meet the requirements of Texas DPS as it is a "A clear (un-tinted) UV film is allowed anywhere on the front windshield without a medical exemption being required."

You can get the ceramic coating for your windshield with no tint whatsoever. It still blocks a lot of the heat but allows all the light to enter.

Right! After talking again with the installer this evening, the windshield is not tinted at all however even though it is a clear film the components involved at blocking the UV rays and IR block some transmittance of light even though there is no tint applied.

Had nitro 5:29 gears and Auburn Pro LSD installed a couple of weeks ago. Didn't post it up because the shop broke the axle seal and sent it back to me leaking . It was leaking everywhere and I had to pull the axle and install a new seal with a bad cold. They are at 400 miles of the break in now. I like them. The lsd does bark the tires in a sharp turn but stops the Traction control from coming on all the time as I have a heavy foot.

Adam, the gas cap just goes over the stock gas cap with double stick tape.
The black one hasn't been on eBay for about 4 months, only silver.

Wish app, but you’ll wait like 6 weeks. The radiator cap is a cover that goes over the original and is heavy duty
