I got my 06 Double Cab back then from Mike Erdman and got really good deal since most people wanted the 07 with 5.7 :D

I wanted a Cavalry Blue or Black DC with a Bench. Was told the only Bench seat they ever get in on the DC are White "work trucks" with the long bed.

If I wanted one in Blue or Black, they would have to put an order in to have it built. I didn't want to wait so SR5 center console I got.

    Wow!

Amazing searching skills, looks llike you've done this before.

Curious as I was under the understanding that SR5 package deleted front bench seat and added 38 gal gas tank, and these are "at least" listed as SR5s.

    Thanks!

There is an SR5 “upgrade“ package that adds the console shifter and the larger tank on top of a standard SR5. SR5 package alone does not get the larger tank and console shifter.

That’s a good point too, I had to double check the specs when I was sr5 shopping to make sure I got the bigger tank. I had my 11’ for about 8yrs with the smaller tank and it drove me nuts. that was the #1 requirement in a new truck for me.

I had a heck of a time find my white 1794 4x4 with out a bunch of options I didn’t want. But I stumbled upon this search tool, and it’s awesome. Just have to find zip codes out of your area to expand your search beyond 500 miles. https://www.newcars.com/dealer-inventory

Thanks guys, I made a deal for one in Texas - black SR5 (without the SR5 upgrade - this will remove the bench seat fyi). MSRP of 38k, and i'm picking it up saturday driving it back to FL. The used ones i was looking at were 2018 (20-40k miles) selling for 40-42k$ ....used market is insane!

First mod to do...getting rid of all the chrome! :)
