    I love the look of them and have only heard good things about them. Just don’t know if I can justify mt’s when I drive off road maybe 3 weeks a year for hunting season and that’s on nice logging roads hahaha

    @MKKnuds its a stage 2 6" pro comp

    Honestly, My tastes have change since the lift. If i could do it all over again id do a 3" with rear shackles , body mount chop, 18' rims with 35's

    I want to put 35s on too. Thought I'd need the extra clearance with a 6" lift to fit them. But my wife would rather have the 3" makes it easier to load little kids. Ill have to do some looking. Don't think this lift kit will be any time in the near future.

    @DjScoop Do you think i would rub doing this on my 6" procomp with factory bumper? Also, Did you re gear to run the 37s, any significant changes in shifting at 60mpg or MPG from 35's?

It is spacers in the front strut and a block under the leafs in the rear, also new shocks in the rear. One pro was it actually have me 4” but who is really counting inches?

    Right now I have 255/70/18 on the truck but want to go with 325/65/18 (BFG KO2s) I need honest no BS on that size tire. Will it fit at all with my truck or am I just getting myself into trouble? I don’t want to pretend like I know a darn thing when it comes to tires or anything else for that matter. I’m sure I will need to run spacers with how much bigger the tires are.

    Here are some before and after photos.

    Imo I would not run a wide 325/65 with spacers. A 295 is probably going to be in your range. Others with stock wheels will chime in.

    Make sure you cough up the money for some UCA's/ SPC's are the least expensive option. They are not optional. You will jack up your tires without them. Unless you plan on spending more money on re-gearing don't go larger than 295/70's. I had 295/70's and i could still feel a considerable loss in acceleration due to the rolling weight of the rubbers so I went smaller. To each their own. If you don't mind the loss in power and just want the look go for it!

    what are UCA’s and SPC’s? I appreciate the info. I really don’t want a loss of power because I take it up the mountains for hunting and camping (no trailer yet) mainly I want the larger tires for a tad more clearance while in the deep ruts in hunting areas. I bottomed out last hunting season and don’t want that to happen any more.

    Upper Control Arms....... SPC is the brand. search the forum for these/ there is A LOT of discussion on them here..... Save up for them if you have to and install them! As for tire size.... the power loss is felt more when accelerating on the road because of the rolling weight of the tire. If you need the extra clearance in the woods hunting, then by all means put some large meats on there! It will be worth whatever loss of acceleration you get on the road brother! Function over form. I thought you might just be doing it for looks. Clearance is paramount in the backcountry.

    This is a great link to a thread that discusses the importance of after market UCA's. Start at the beginning of the thread and read down through it. There are tons of other threads on them. Just type SPC UCA in the search menu/ but this thread will get you started. If you still don't understand start a new thread and title it "Why do I need aftermarket UCA's with a lift?" and a million guys will jump in to school you! Good luck man!

    @The Juice
    Man scare tactics.... I can say this.... I run 325/65/20 on 6inch lift on a 2011 5.7 dc and have not experienced any loss. I have had the lift since 2015 and I'm on 3rd set of tires. None of those reasons made the tires wear bad.

    @MKKnuds IMHO..... do the math. Unless you are going 37s the amount of money you pay to re-gear vs gas saved is stupid. I'm sure some other will chime in here.

    Thanks a lot! Never done anything like this to a vehicle so it’s all foreign to me. This truck isn’t a pavement princess by any means so it is all for function over fashion. Really just trying to figure out the best thing to put as little “unnecessary” add ons. I’ll look into the UCAs for sure as my current ones are a little worn.

    In reference to regearing... what motor do you have and what was your stock gear ratio? Mine has the 4.30 gears and unless I jump up to 37's I don't plan to regear at all.

    No re-gearing for me! I kept my tires at 33's. Re-gearing is so expensive!
