As I was installing my ABS sensor guards the other day, I noticed that my rear drivers shock had more than normal "dirt" on it... Looks like it's been leaking... Truck only has 3900 miles on it, nothing off road but I do have a 1" shackle lift in the back.

Could that 1" lift been the cause of this premature failure? My guess is if I take it to the dealer, they'll point that out and say that was the cause

Has anyone else had this happen so soon? Should I take it to the dealer? I plan on adding 5160's in the future, but thought I'd get others opinions.

Oh, the ABS guards look great though

It's possible that the 1" lift caused the premature failure.
